摘要： Systems and methods for controlling an unmanned aerial vehicle within an environment are provided. In one aspect, a system comprises one or more sensors carried on the unmanned aerial vehicle and configured to receive sensor data of the environment and one or more processors. The one or more processors may be individually or collectively configured to: determine, based on the sensor data, an environmental complexity factor representative of an obstacle density for the environment; determine, based on the environmental complexity factor, one or more operating rules for the unmanned aerial vehicle; receive a signal indicating a desired movement of the unmanned aerial vehicle; and cause the unmanned aerial vehicle to move in accordance with the signal while complying with the one or more operating rules.

摘要： A control system for a pump installation comprising a primary feed back circuit including sensors measuring the fluid discharge pressure of the pump and possibly additionally the fluid flow in the pump discharge and regulating the speed of the pump drive to control said discharge pressure in dependence for example on the pressure requirements of boiler feed, and including additionally a secondary feed back circuit sensing further operating conditions in the pump installation e.g. water and oil pressures. The primary circuit delivers a speed control signal for actuation of control valve means of the pump drive which may be for example a steam turbine, and the secondary circuit is coupled to a gate of the primary circuit whereby in the event of any of the further conditions being unsatisfactory the control signal is interrupted and the pump stopped.

摘要： This disclosure relates to a hydraulic governor which includes fixed displacement pump means for providing a fluid flow proportionate to the speed it is driven. The hydraulic governor also includes flow control valve means for controlling the communication of the fixed displacement pump means with an exhaust and which has variable orifice means for varying the restriction of the fluid flow. The hydraulic governor further includes pressure regulator valve means which is in fluid communication with the pump means and which is responsive to variations of the fluid flow pressure from a predetermined value for regulating the pressure of a control fluid as a substantially linear function of the speed of the pump drive. The pressure regulator valve means is in fluid communication with the flow control valve means for the variable orifice means to vary the restriction of the fluid flow in response to variations in the control fluid pressure to correct the fluid flow pressure to the predetermined value.

摘要： A steam turbine plant incorporating high and low pressure shaft coupled turbines connected in series in the steam flow path from the steam generator also includes a water separator in the steam flow path between the two turbines. Steam flow control valves controlled by a turbine shaft speed governor function to control the amount of steam going to the turbines, and safety shut-off valves controlled by a turbine shaft speed monitor function to shut-off the steam supply to the turbines in the event the turbine shaft exceeds a predetermined safe speed limit. In order to avoid build-up of any dangerous steam over-pressure from arising within the water separator, steam pressure responsive devices are included which operate in conjunction with the speed responsive controls so as to also shut off the steam flow, thus providing a control system operating conjointly on two different parameters, namely, turbine shaft speed and steam pressure.
