摘要： A marking apparatus with a CAD device which is highly productive due to the procedure of entering an image of a workpiece 1 as a marking diagram into the CAD device 40 and constructing a work program synthesizing the marking symbols/drawings onto the marking diagram. The position of the workpiece 1 can be adjusted by monitoring the screen because an image of the workpiece 1 is displayed on the display device 4N of the CAD device 40 as a marking diagram. Additionally, marking symbols/drawings of an arbitrary scale can be synthesized in cooperation with the marking diagram of the workpiece, since the scaling ratio of the image of the workpiece 1 is displayed on the display device 4N.

摘要： A method for automatically producing different sizes of a particular garment from a basic pattern, wherein the basic pattern is sampled and digitized and this information is entered into the memory of a computer. A reference measurement value is determined utilizing characteristic points of the basic pattern. This reference measurement value along with data provided in the computer relating to evolutions in width and in length of the different sizes are used to calculate reference measurement values for each size. This value along with the characteristic points of the basic pattern are used to produce a pattern of differing size from the basic pattern.

摘要： An interactive system and method for creating and modifying embroidery designs is disclosed. The system provides a user with numerous functions for interactively creating and modifying embroidery designs, and generating the necessary stitch commands for recreating the embroidery design on an embroidery stitching machine. The system is preferably operative on an IBM PC. The system is menu-based, and may be used for modifying embroidery designs in either outline-format or stitch-format. Once a design has been entered, the user may utilize predetermined functions to quickly alter a design and visualize the resulting design. The system further provides a method for modifying embroidery designs in an outline format into bridge type lettering.
