    摘要: This disclosure provides virtual reality (VR) glasses. The VR glasses include: a bottom plate, two communicating light-transmitting holes being provided on the bottom plate symmetrically; a first sealing part and a second sealing part, which are both made of a silica gel material and are fixed onto the bottom plate, and the first sealing part and the second sealing part are in one-to-one correspondence with positions of the two light-transmitting holes; and a first lens barrel and a second lens barrel, the first lens barrel communicates with one of the two light-transmitting holes through the first sealing part, and the second lens barrel communicates with the other one of the two light-transmitting holes through the second sealing part, and the first lens barrel and the second lens barrel are configured to be able to move toward each other.

    摘要: An optical device for off-axis viewing includes a contact lens adapted for human eye wear. The contact lens includes a diffraction grating written into or on the contact lens. A peripheral light from a peripheral light source is diffracted by the diffraction grating so as to appear at about a same location as light from an ambient scene substantially in a direction of a central field of view. A wearer of the optical device for off-axis viewing sees simultaneously the peripheral light and the light from an ambient scene as superimposed at least in part over each other. A device-less method for correcting light direction from an ambient light source to a retina of a diseased or injured eye, and a remedial contact lens method for correcting light direction from an ambient light source to a retina of a diseased or injured eye are also described.

    摘要: A vision system is supported by an articulated support frame having at least one proximal frame member coupled to an attachment device and a pair of distal frame members that retain optical devices in fixed mutual parallelism between optical axes of the optical devices and mounting axes of the distal frame members. A number of joints are mechanically interposed between the frame members that define respective axes of rotation about which the frame members are relatively moveable. The joints afford motion of the distal frame members through spatial trajectories over which the mounting axes diverge from mutual parallelism. A bridge device immobilizes the distal frame members on their trajectories in a binocular viewing configuration in which the mounting axis are parallel.

    摘要: Eyewear comprising a pair of lenses assembled to a frame. Each lens comprises an integral tubular loupe mounting bracket extending forward of the lens exterior surface. The tubular mounting bracket defines an interior surface. The interior surface provides a loupe coupling receptacle for receiving and temporarily retaining a loupe assembly therein, enabling replacement of each loupe for repair, change in magnification, reduction in overall costs, reduced delivery time, etc. The loupe assembly is temporarily fixed within the loupe coupling receptacle by a loupe retention element feature. The lenses can be manufactured of a generally planar or curved shaped clear, translucent, or opaque material. The lenses can be adjustably assembled to the frame, enabling adjustable positioning of each loupe. Accessories, such as a camera, lighting, a secondary lens frame (such as prescription lenses), etc. can be integrated or removably attached to the eyewear frame.
