摘要: A conveyor assembly for transporting a carrier coupled to a receptacle to a processing station located within a housing of an instrument. The conveyor assembly includes a spur conveyor subassembly and a buffer conveyor subassembly for transporting the carrier from a host conveyor assembly to the spur conveyor subassembly. The spur conveyor subassembly includes (i) a rotatable diverter having at least one recess for receiving and moving the carrier between the buffer conveyor subassembly and the spur conveyor subassembly and (ii) a gripper configured to grasp the carrier and move it from the diverter to the processing position located within the housing of the instrument.

摘要: Systems, methods and computer-readable media are provided for determining a sequential ordering of predefined transfers for transferring an object from source points of a source array to destination points of a destination array in a laboratory automation system. For each transition to a next transfer, first and second component travel costs between current and next transfer positions are determined. A transition travel cost is determined from the first and second component travel costs. The cost of each sequential ordering of the predefined transfers is based upon an aggregate of the transition travel costs for each ordering of the transfers. The resolved sequential ordering may be based upon the sequential ordering that has the lowest cost.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a sample analyzer, including: an incubation mechanism, which is used for performing incubation on liquid in a reaction vessel; and a uniform mixing mechanism, which is independently arranged relative to the incubation mechanism and has a transport station and a uniform mixing station, wherein the uniform mixing mechanism includes a carrying member for carrying the reaction vessel, and the carrying member drives the reaction vessel to circularly move between the transport station and the uniform mixing station; and the carrying member conveys the reaction vessel, which is input from the transport station, to the uniform mixing station, so as to uniformly mix the liquid, and conveys the reaction vessel from the uniform mixing station to the transport station, so as to output the reaction vessel to the incubation mechanism.

The rack handler has a rotation assembly including a) an engagement element for engagement with the sample rack, and b) a motor coupled to the engagement element and is operable to cause rotation of the engagement element. The rotation assembly rotates the sample rack from a first orientation into a second orientation along the travel path when the engagement element engages the sample rack.

摘要: A sample transport method, applied to a test instrument including a conveyor belt, and a loading platform and a grab position sequentially disposed along a transport direction of the conveyor belt, wherein a plurality of sample holder transport positions are disposed on the conveyor belt; the method including: pushing a first sample holder from the loading platform to a sample holder transport position of the conveyor; when a sample position on the first sample holder moves to the grab position, determining whether the sample position moved the grab position is a target sample position; if so, then determining whether all samples positions on the first sample holder before the target sample holder other than a predetermined number of sample positions have completed testing, wherein the predetermined number is sample position number corresponding to a delay time in outputting information indicating whether a sample needs to be retested.

摘要: A main drive mechanism provided with a main motor drives a rack on a first main path and a rack on a second main path simultaneously in the forward direction or simultaneously in the reverse direction. The rack is sent along a first auxiliary path by a first auxiliary drive mechanism. Then the rack is further sent in the forward direction along the second main path by the main drive mechanism. Once the rack leaves the first receiving region, the first claw member of the first auxiliary drive mechanism is sent to a retraction position and the rack is driven by the main drive mechanism in the reverse direction. The first claw member is then sent to an engagement position on the first main transportation path, the main drive mechanism is driven for transport in the forward direction, and the rack and the first claw member engage each other.

摘要: An empty rack transport line is arranged at a lower stage and independent of a main transport line, a fast emergency line and a reverse line. In a rack stocker, an inclined transport line connects the empty rack transport line to the rack stocker. The rack stocker is arranged between a storage module and a loading module. The rack stocker is capable of continuously supplying and collecting empty racks, while transport lines do not cross each other. It is, therefore, possible to continuously supply and collect empty racks in a simple configuration, without an increase in the system size, an intersection of transport lines and a reduction in processing capability. In addition, it is possible to provide an automated sample testing system that is highly extendable for various facility sizes.
