Abstract:
To provide a cement burning apparatus and a method of drying high-water-content organic waste capable of reducing a danger of explosion at a facility for drying; avoiding decreased value of dried sludge as a fuel: and more efficiently drying high-water-content organic waste. The cement burning apparatus 1 comprises a dryer 6 for drying high-water-content organic waste of which water content is 40 mass percent or more, in which combustion gas extracted from outlet portions or ceiling portions of preheater cyclones 3A to 3D of a cement kiln 2 is fed to the dryer 6. As the dryer 6, a grinding-type flash dryer, which directly contacts the combustion gas G with the high-water-content organic waste W while grinding it, can be used. In addition, the apparatus 1 further comprises a coarse powder separator 12 for separating coarse powder from the combustion gas extracted from the range described above, and the combustion gas G from which dust is separated by the coarse powder separator 12 can be fed to the dryer 6, and the dust concentration of the gas fed to the dryer 6 may be adjusted to 0.05 kg/Nm3 or more and 0.35 kg/Nm3 or less.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for feeding a drying gas to a mixing granulator comprising a mixing chamber and a rotating agitator (3), on which mixer blades (4) are arranged in a radial position with respect to a drive shaft (5). The feeder line (6) for the drying gas is disposed inside the drive shaft (5) of the agitator (3). An exit line (7) is respectively connected in the region of each mixer blade (4), said line terminating in at least one outlet (8) arranged underneath and, in the direction of rotation, behind the mixer blades (s). The outlet (8) extends advantageously in at least partial manner along the mixer blades (4), embodied in the form of a slit or in a flat manner in the form of a porous element.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a process and processor for reusing waste paint (i.e., a process and processor for converting waste paint into resources) which bring about efficient processing of the waste paint. In the process for reusing the waste paint, the waste paint is rolled between a pair of heated rotating drums disposed opposite to each other, to dehydrate and dry the waste paint (rough drying step); and the dehydrated and dried waste paint is ground by a rotating grinding rotor of which axial is perpendicularly arranged in a processing tank and further the dehydrated and dried waste paint is dehydrated, dried and pulverized (main drying step).
Abstract:
Installation for the drying, heating, sterilization or disinfection of dry, moist or wet materials or materials in a moist environment and of liquids, particularly waste which may be infected, e.g., medical waste, in which the materials to be treated are introduced into a microwave-permeable vessel in a pressure-proof treatment space which can be acted upon by microwaves and sealed in a pressure-tight manner, wherein a plurality of magnetrons are coupled into the resonant space forming the treatment space in such a way that microwave dead spaces are prevented, wherein the physical parameters in the device are monitored and utilized for controlling the installation, and wherein added units are also provided for influencing the course of the process.
Abstract:
A system for discharging dried product, particularly for drying filters, drying units and the like, comprising, on a container for treating and containing a dried product, a discharge hole that is controlled by a discharge valve, interposed on a pneumatic circuit suitable to produce a circulation of fluid in output from the discharge hole. An agitator is also provided which acts on the dried product to facilitate its outward conveyance.
Abstract:
A garbage processor has a vessel for receiving garbage, a rotary pulverizer/stirrer for crushing and stirring the garbage in the vessel and a first heater for drying the garbage in the vessel. A steam is generated upon heating and drying of the garbage. An air blower feeds a high pressure an ambient air into the vessel to force the steam out of the vessel. A steam separator is provided for separating the steam into a water and a gas. A second heater is provided downstream of the steam separator for oxidizing the gas emanating from the steam separator to reduce a smell of the gas. The gas is deodorized before it is discharged to the atmosphere.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to improved drying techniques which increase the capacity and efficiency of agitated pan type dryers. In particular, the present invention relates to an agitated pan type dryer apparatus and method for aggressive convective drying of hard to dry chemical compounds, such as pharmaceuticals. The aggressive drying is brought about by creating turbulence within the drying vessel during the drying cycle. Significant reductions in drying cycle times have been achieved.
Abstract:
A drying apparatus for removing moisture content from a substance to be dried, comprises a peripheral wall defining a working space for drying the substance, the peripheral wall defines at least an inlet for charging the substance to be dried, an outlet for taking the dried substance therefrom and a drain. A rotary spiral blade assembly is disposed within the working space and has a lower end, at which the substance accumulated on the bottom of the working space rides on a transporting surface of the rotary spiral blade assembly. The rotary spiral blade assembly is rotatable at a predetermined rotation speed sufficient for forcing the substance on the transporting surface to climb up toward the upper end of the rotary spiral blade assembly. The rotary spiral blade assembly defines a path for the substance reaching at upper end thereof to fall down to the bottom. A heating device is associated with at least one of the peripheral wall and the rotary spiral blade assembly for heating a surface interfacing with the substance, while the substance travels on the transporting surface toward the upward end. A device located in opposition to the upper end of the rotary spiral blade assembly, forces the substance reaching the upper end to fall down through the path.
Abstract:
A raw sewage drying apparatus, such as for a portable toilet. The apparatus has an outer casing with an opening in an upper portion thereof, and an outer cover for covering the opening. An inner casing made of a heat resistent material is housed in the outer casing. The inner casing has an opening in an upper portion thereof, and an inner cover for covering the opening. A heating device heats the inner casing. A rotatable drive shaft unit is provided in the inner casing, and a plurality of blades are fixed to the drive shaft unit for stirring the raw sewage stored in the inner casing. A plurality of heating balls are contained in the inner casing for heating the raw sewage.
Abstract:
By agglomeration in a high speed mixer spherical granules having a desired granule size distribution are obtained by supplying the agglomeration liquid by means of an atomizer wheel axially positioned in the high speed mixer and by controlling the quantity and evaporation of said liquid in consideration of the changes occurring with respect to water binding ability of the agglomerates during compaction. An apparatus for carrying out the method includes a mixer bowl with an impeller on a central shaft through the bottom of the bowl and an atomizer with an atomizer wheel with its shaft in alignment with the shaft of the impeller.
