    摘要: A torque tube with a pentagonal cross-section includes a tube body and a cavity disposed in the tube body. The cross-section of the tube body of the length direction is a convex pentagon including a first side, a second side, a third side, a fourth side, and a fifth side that are connected end to end in a circumferential direction to form a closed structure. The tube body is a symmetrical structure with a perpendicular bisector of the third side as an axis, such that the second side is symmetrical with the fourth side, the first side is symmetrical with the fifth side, and the second side and the fourth side are vertically connected to the third side. A solar structure is further provided. The special pentagonal structure of the torque tube provides an additional cross-section for selection while ensuring strength and flexural performance and saving on material costs.

    摘要: A solar tracking device includes a base, a first driving member, a turntable, a translating plate, a second driving member and a solar panel stand. The first driving member includes a first rotary gear. The turntable has an outer gear ring and a track. The outer gear ring is engaged with the first rotary gear to drive the turntable to rotate with respect to the base. The translating plate is accommodated in the track. The second driving member includes a second rotary gear installed at the translating plate and engaged with the track to drive the translating plate to move horizontally along the track. The solar panel stand includes a main frame and first and second link rod frames. The main frame is driven by the first and second link rod frames to adjust the angle of elevation with respect to the translating plate.

    摘要: The present disclosure envisages a solar tracking system for a solar panel. The solar tracking system comprises a bearing, a torque tube and a linear actuator. The bearing is coupled to the solar panel by means of rails, typically, C-channel, hat section rails. The torque tube is connected to the solar panel, wherein the torque tube is configured to be angularly displaced within the bearing. The linear actuator is coupled to the torque tube, wherein the linear actuator is configured to angularly displace the torque tube, thereby displacing the solar panel. The linear actuator includes a worm and worm gear arrangement of a rack and pinion arrangement. The solar tracking system is powered by either an auxiliary solar panel and/or a battery.
