Abstract:
The present utility model pertains to the technical field of equipment for producing asphalt concrete (AC) or hot mix asphalt concrete (HMAC), and relates more particularly to an improvement to mobile asphalt plants provided with side protectors. Proposed are protective screens for the areas which should be avoided by operators and others, where high temperatures and noise levels prevail. The protectors are installed in the area where virgin aggregate arriving from the metering system is transferred to the drying/heating system, where the intake temperature of the metered material is high and elements such as the conveyor belt can cause injury to operators. The other area to be isolated is the place where the burner of the plant carries out the process of combustion.
Abstract:
A device for treating objects having a treatment chamber, which has a wall having a gap extending between first and wall segments. The device includes an apparatus having at least one component which extends from outside of the treatment chamber into the treatment chamber through the gap and can be moved along the gap. A sealing assembly seals the gap leaving at least one passage opening, through which the at least one component extends. The sealing assembly includes a first and a second sealing element, which extend on the first or second wall segment along the gap and have a coupling edge, the coupling edges being complementary to each other. The coupling edges are coupled to each other and, during the movement of the at least one component, separate from each other in front of the passage opening and couple to each other behind the passage opening.
Abstract:
A box-shaped protective cover that covers an upper structural portion of a body of a vibrating compactor is manufactured by executing a cutting process for fashioning a single metal plate into a shape including a first planar portion, a second planar portion, an intermediate portion, and a plurality of side flaps, a bending process for bending or curving the side flaps and the intermediate portion, and a welding process for welding a side flap of the first planar portion to a side flap of the second planar portion.
Abstract:
A machine housing of a machine tool or an automated machine such as an automated storage system having protective side walls covering the lateral sides of the machine housing, wherein each lateral side wall comprises at least one or a plurality of wall segments, arranged on top of each other, wherein a rope stop safety is provided, wherein each wall segment is secured to the machine housing via said rope stop safety and wherein said rope stop safety comprises at least one cable.
Abstract:
A treatment machine for containers, in particular bottles, having a rotatable container table; a lift guard cover formed laterally on the container table; and a rail guide, which is stationarily fixed in position above the container table and which has the lift guard cover secured thereto such that it is displaceable in a vertical direction. The lift guard cover includes a carrier for fastening to the rail guide, the carrier extending in a circumferential direction. The lift guard cover can be mounted in a suspended fashion. Access to the container table in the raised condition of the lift guard cover is not impaired by guide rails extending down to the container table.
Abstract:
A universal joint shaft protection arrangement has a protection device (3) with at least one protection cone (11) and a projection pot (6). The protection pot (6) is attached to a stationary component. The protection cone (11) at least partially accommodates the protection pot in an axially overlapping manner. At least one driver (25, 25′) is retained at the outside on the protection cone (11). The at least one driver (25, 25′) radially engages a first recess (27, 27′) in the protection cone (11) and a second recess (28, 28′) in the protection pot (6) to support the protection cone (11) and the protection pot (6) in a circumferential direction against one another. The second recess (28, 28′) is formed as a slot in the protection pot (6).
Abstract:
A rotatable apparatus includes a casing and a protector for closing an opening. The casing includes first and second casing faces intersecting at angle θ1. The first casing face is provided with an opening. The protector includes first and second protector faces abutting and intersecting each other at angle θ2. The protector is fixed to only the second casing face. The angle θ2 is larger than the angle θ1 when the protector is removed from the casing. The protector is attached to the casing in such a manner that the second protector face is fixed to the second casing face, and that the first protector face is elastically deformed so that an edge part of the first protector face, which is located on the side opposite to the second protector face, closely contacts the first casing face.
Abstract:
A security apparatus and gate for a vertical baler has a perimeter security barrier formed as a pivotable U-shaped bar adapted to be connected to opposite side walls of the baler and used to block a user from moving too close to the baler when ejecting a bale therefrom, and an operator safety gate adapted to be pivotally connected to one side wall of the vertical baler and overlaping an ejection gate of the vertical baler and used to prevent the ejection gate from pivoting to an open position, such that the baler cannot eject a bale therefrom until the operator safety gate is pivoted into an open position allowing the ejection gate to be pivoted to an open position and the perimeter security barrier is pivoted into a blocking position.
Abstract:
A covering device for machine openings includes a shaft and a winding body which can be rotated relative to one another. A spring element is prestressed between the shaft and the winding body and is mounted by a first spring end to the winding body and by a second spring end to the shaft. A covering element can be wound and unwound onto the winding body to open and cover the opening, respectively. A coupling mechanism couples movement of the covering element to a rotational movement of the shaft. The coupling mechanism has at least one coupling wheel coupled to the shaft that has a profile which is engaged with a counter-profile on the covering element. The loading of the spring element is kept substantially constant by the coupling mechanism as the spring ends are displaced substantially synchronously during the winding and unwinding about the rotational axis.
Abstract:
There is provided a laser processing machine that performs laser processing by emitting laser beams onto a workpiece on a pallet, wherein a gull wing is provided on a front surface of a cabin that houses a processing head for emitting the laser beams and a pallet drive mechanism, and a loading/unloading port for loading the pallet into the cabin or unloading the pallet from the cabin is provided on a rear surface of the cabin. The pallet drive mechanism can drive the pallet to a pallet drawn-out position that is closer to the front surface side than a processing time placement position of the pallet at the time of laser processing.
