Abstract: The present invention relates to a hydraulic built-in valve (100) for a valve block (10), comprising a sleeve (110) that is introducible into the valve block, and a closing element (130). The sleeve comprises a first end region (111) which is connectable to a control cover. The sleeve comprises a second end region (112) which is at the opposite end from the first end region and is introducible into the control cover, wherein the second end region has, in a frontal end, a frontal opening (114), and the sleeve forms, between the first end region and the second end region, a shell (117), having an outer side and an inner side, and the shell of the sleeve has a multiplicity of shell apertures (119) separated by shell webs (118). The closing element is arranged movably in the sleeve, wherein the closing element is movable between a first position and a second position, and wherein, in the first position, a fluidic connection between the frontal opening and the shell apertures is opened up, and, in the second position, a fluidic connection between the frontal opening and the shell apertures is closed off, wherein the shell apertures extend along the shell in the direction from the first end region to the second end region and form an aperture height, and the shell apertures have a height/width ratio of at least 3:1.

Abstract: A novel fluid valve system includes a housing defining a fluid path between first and second ports. The housing preferably includes an interior cylindrically-arcuate surface that defines a center of curvature, with the fluid flow path passing through an opening in the interior cylindrically-arcuate surface. The fluid valve may include a foot having a bottom and a heel, with the bottom facing the interior cylindrically-arcuate surface, and with the heel disposed transverse to the bottom. The foot may extend in a radial direction away from the center of curvature, with the foot pivoting within an operational angular range about the center of curvature. The bottom of the foot may be configured to translate over the opening in the interior cylindrically-arcuate surface, and the heel may be configured to abut the second port with the foot pivoted to a closed position of the operational angular range.

Abstract: A valve assembly for controlling a flow of a substance through the valve assembly includes a valve body defining an inlet, an outlet, and a volume therebetween and a sleeve disposed in at least a portion of the volume, an interior of the sleeve having a first opening in fluid communication with the inlet and a second opening in communication with the outlet. The valve assembly also includes a seat ring releasably held in place in the valve body by the sleeve at at least one of the first opening or the second opening. The valve assembly further includes a stem disposed in the sleeve and a plug releasably engaged to the stem and configured to contact the seat ring to control the flow of the substance through the valve assembly.

Abstract: A method of using a pipe stopper to stop fluid flow through a pipeline includes providing the pipe stopper, the pipe stopper comprising an expandable stopper body and a pressure assembly, the expandable stopper body configurable in an expanded configuration and a contracted configuration, the pressure assembly configurable in an open configuration and a closed configuration and comprising a housing cavity; lowering the expandable stopper body of the pipe stopper into a pipe channel of the pipeline in the contracted configuration; orienting the pressure assembly in the open configuration, wherein an upper portion of the housing cavity is in fluid communication with an atmosphere external to the pipeline and a lower portion of the housing cavity is in fluid communication with the pipe channel; and biasing the expandable stopper body to the expanded configuration to block fluid flow through the pipe channel.

Abstract: The decoking control valve includes a piston, a cylinder, and a hydraulic rod seal at the outlet ports. The piston can move translational inside the cylinder along a fixed direction. The cylinder houses the hydraulic rod seal in a groove of the cylinder that places the hydraulic rod seal next to the piston. The hydraulic rod seal has a seal ring in contact with the piston, and the seal rings are activated. As the piston translates within the cylinder, the seal ring will activate at one outlet port and allow fluid to flow out of another outlet port.

Abstract: Fluid flow control apparatus for use with fluid valves are disclosed. An apparatus includes a plug for a sliding stem fluid valve. The plug has a first portion slidably coupled to a second portion. The apparatus also includes a seal gland formed in an outer circumferential surface of the plug by the first portion and the second portion. A dimension of the seal gland changes when the first portion slides relative to the second portion to displace a seal disposed in the seal gland. The seal sealingly engages a cage of the fluid valve when the second portion contacts a seat of the fluid valve.

Abstract: Fluid control valve including a valve body and an energizing member. The body is engaged with one end of a rotating shaft and moves along an axial direction of the shaft based on shaft rotation. The body opens and closes a first opening by the outer periphery, and one end comes into contact with and separates from a second opening. The member energizes the body on another end side of the shaft. A portion abutting on the second opening and a flow passage in which a fluid flows are at the one end of the body in the case where the first opening is fully closed. Since a valve-closed position of the body can be secured, and fluid flows in the flow passage, when a low flow rate is controlled, a stable flow rate is secured without closing the second opening which is a suction port in a valve-closed position.

Abstract: A choke valve body of a valve apparatus includes a lower stem that terminating at a lower end thereof with a plug. A conduit traverses a lower portion of the lower stem between at least one plug aperture traversing the plug to at least one top aperture traversing an upper end of the lower portion. The lower portion is slidably retained within the valve chamber between closed and open positions. A bonnet fixed with the valve body has a bonnet chamber for receiving the lower portion, and a bore with at least one annular seal for slidably retaining an upper portion. A yoke assembly is fixed with the bonnet, terminates at an upper end with a drive mechanism, and includes an upper stem with a threaded upper end that is driven between raised and lowered positions by the drive mechanism, the upper stem fixed with the lower stem.

Abstract: A valve assembly includes a sensing device, a main spring, a bonnet located below the sensing device, a piston with a through hole, and a valve stem connected with the sensing device and having a penetrating part through the through hole. The sensing device drives the valve stem to drive the piston. The valve assembly also includes an auxiliary spring arranged between the bonnet and the piston. The penetrating part is longer than the depth of the through hole and the valve stem is slidably coupled in piston. The valve assembly can prevent the valve stem from transferring the force of the main spring to the piston, so as to avoid damaging the valve port, the valve stem, and the piston when the force of the main spring is too large.
