Abstract: There is provided an attachment device for maintaining positive fluid pressure, the attachment device comprising a body having a fluid outlet port and at least two positive pressure fluid inlet ports; wherein each of the at least two positive pressure fluid inlet ports is connectable to a respective fluid source; wherein each of the at least two positive pressure fluid inlet ports is in fluid communication with the fluid outlet port; wherein each of the at least two positive pressure fluid inlet ports comprises an attachment device mechanism for selectively starting and stopping a flow of fluid from the respective fluid source to the fluid outlet port, and wherein the attachment device mechanism comprises a valve moveable between an open valve position and a closed valve position. An attachment device, connector, and method of using an apparatus suitable for a ventilator is also disclosed.

Abstract: A gas negative pressure valve is provided which comprises a valve body and a valve cover. A gas inlet and a gas outlet are disposed on the valve body. A drive lever and a diaphragm assembly are disposed inside the valve body, and one end of the drive lever is connected to a lower end of the diaphragm assembly, and the other end of the drive lever is connected with a sealing gasket. An end of the drive lever is hinged on a sidewall of the valve body. A reset spring is disposed between the drive lever and a bottom of an inner chamber of the valve body. A guide passage is opened in the inner chamber of the valve body. An end of the drive lever close to the gas inlet is connected with a guide shaft, a lower end of which is cooperated slidably in the guide passage.

Abstract: A hot melt adhesive system includes an adhesive supply for receiving solid or semi-solid hot melt adhesive, and a heater associated with the adhesive supply for melting the solid or semi-solid hot melt adhesive into liquid hot melt adhesive. An adhesive tracking system monitors an output of the liquid hot melt adhesive, and includes a flow meter having a flow inlet and a flow outlet. The flow meter measures an amount of the adhesive flowing out of the flow outlet. A product detector may be used to sense a presence of a product to which the adhesive is applied. A controller then determines the total amount of the liquid adhesive dispensed and the average amount of liquid adhesive dispensed per product.

Abstract: In some embodiments, a tube portion can be configured to be fluidically coupled to a patient access component. A source of pressurized fluid can be coupled to the tube portion and can be configured to deliver fluid to the tube portion at a source pressure. A fluid pressure regulating device can include an expandable reservoir and can be coupled to the tube portion such that the expandable reservoir is in fluidic communication with the tube portion. The fluid pressure regulating device can be configured such that, when fluid is delivered from the source of pressurized fluid to the lumen of the tube portion at the source pressure, the expandable reservoir of the fluid pressure regulating device can receive fluid such that the expandable reservoir of the fluid pressure regulating device expands and fluid is delivered from the lumen of the tube portion to the patient via the patient access component.

Abstract: A constant pressure valve for an inflatable product is provided. The constant pressure valve comprises: a housing defining an airflow channel within. A first sealing seat is disposed in the airflow channel and a first through hole is formed in the first sealing seat. An inflation valve core comprises: a first actuating assembly and a first valve head. The first actuating assembly is configured to drive the first valve head to disengage from the first through hole, or to engage with the first through hole in a sealing manner. The constant pressure valve is switchable between an inflation state, in which the first valve head is disengaged from the first through hole, and the airflow channel is unblocked; and a cut-off state in which the first valve head is engaged with the first through hole in a sealing manner, and the airflow channel is blocked by the first valve head.

Abstract: A pressure reducer includes a housing, defining upstream and downstream pressure chambers. A valve is positioned in the housing and includes a diaphragm acting on a valve tappet. The valve includes a valve body fastened to the valve tappet and cooperating with a sealing element. The valve body has a cylindrical, hollow-cylindrical, or conical contour and forms a sealing surface effective in the radial direction. The sealing surface is interrupted at at least one circumferential position by a flow channel, such that, depending on a pressure drop in the downstream pressure chamber, either the sealing element lies against the sealing surface and completely closes a flow region between the sealing element and the sealing surface or the sealing element is removed from the sealing surface and completely opens the flow region or the sealing element lies against the sealing surface and partly opens the flow region exclusively by the respective flow channel.

Abstract: Described are oxygen control systems that utilize compressed air or oxygen. The oxygen control systems may include a control device having a first inlet that enables the flow of a supply gas from a high pressure gas source at an input pressure into the control device. The control device also includes a pressure regulator that is operable in a first mode and a second mode. In the first mode, the pressure regulator reduces input pressure of the gas to a first outlet pressure at the outlet, and, in the second mode, the pressure regulator reduces the input pressure of the gas to a second outlet pressure at the outlet that is greater than the first outlet pressure.
