    摘要: A linear valve drive for connection to a valve body having a valve seat and at least one flow passage with at least one inlet and at least one outlet, comprises a drive housing with a drive unit accommodated therein, an actuating element axially shiftable by the drive unit and coupled with a valve closing element to be pressed against the valve seat, and optionally closing the flow passage, and a supporting unit surrounding the actuating element, which is designed to be attached to the valve body. A spring system loaded by actuating the linear valve drive is provided at the supporting unit, which in dependence on the compression path has different spring rates. Furthermore, a correspondingly equipped valve is described.

    摘要: A valve assembly includes a housing having a first chamber, a second chamber, and a valve seat disposed therebetween. A valve head disposed in the housing and is moveable between an open position and a closed position. The valve head defines a bore extending along an axis from the first chamber to the second chamber when the valve head is in the closed position. A valve stem is disposed in the bore and is coupled to the valve head in the bore for moving the valve head between the open and closed positions. The valve assembly allows for selective fluid communication between the first and second chambers to alleviate pressure differences between the first and second chambers. In one embodiment, the valve stem moves in the bore between a sealed position and an unsealed position. In another embodiment, a check valve is disposed in the bore.

    摘要: A diaphragm operated valve having the diaphragm attached at its lower end to a valve closure plug, and movable therewith, and attached at its upper end to a portion of valve body that forms the pressure cavity. The diaphragm has a stepped portion between its upper and lower ends which folds back on itself when the valve opens. The valve body has shoulder portions that support the diaphragm when the valve is closed to avoid stressing the diaphragm material due to pressure in the pressure chamber. This allows the outside diameter of the diaphragm to be minimized, and eliminates the need for fabric reinforcement. A filter screen is positioned flush with the surface of the valve plug so that high velocity flow across the screen while the valve is opening and closing removes accumulated dirt thereby making the screen self cleaning.

    摘要: A flow control valve in which pressure differential in a pressure cavity is maintained by a diaphragm attached at its lower end to a valve closure plug, and movable therewith, and attached at its upper end to a portion of valve body that forms the pressure cavity. The diaphragm has a stepped portion between its upper and lower ends which extends in the direction of motion of the valve plug, which folds back on itself when the valve opens. The valve body has shoulder portions that support the diaphragm when the valve is closed to avoid stressing the diaphragm material due to pressure in the pressure chamber. The stepped design allows the outside diameter of the diaphragm to be minimized, and eliminates the need for fabric reinforcement. A bleed passage provides pressure communication between the pressure cavity and the inlet side of the valve. A filter screen is positioned over the opening of the bleed passage flush with the surface of the valve plug so that high velocity flow across the screen while the valve is opening and closing removes dirt accumulated on the screen thereby making the screen self cleaning.

    摘要: An austenitic stainless steel valve which is used at 100.degree. C. or higher is easy to operate at the beginning of use. The valve of the present invention has a valve body made from an austenitic stainless steel, and a stem adapted to be reciprocated to open and close the valve. The stem is made from a metal having a thermal expansion coefficient that is ten-thirteenths or less of that of an austenitic stainless steel. Such a metal may be a ferritic or martensitic stainless steel. With this arrangement, it is possible to restrict the compressive stress applied to the stem within an allowable stress for the material of the stem and thus to prevent the destruction of the seat or the bending of the stem. The valve can thus be used easily.

The degree of compression is controlled so that less compression of the seal takes place when less is required to seal, such as with lower pressure differentials, thereby avoiding unnecessary fatigue and wear of and around the seals that would otherwise increase the generation of particulate contamination.

    摘要: A high Cv bulk process valve, control system and method convey a process gas or liquid for manufacturing semiconductors through a fluid passage. The fluid passage contains an aerodynamically shaped expansion chamber within which a valve seat and a moveable poppet are arranged for opening and closing the fluid passage. The aerodynamically shaped expansion chamber includes a conically expanding entry and a conically contracting exit and is shaped such that the resistance to flow of the process gas or liquid through the fluid passage of the valve is very nearly the same as through a straight tubing having a cross-sectional area of an inlet to the valve and a length of the fluid passage through the valve. The valve can be added or subtracted from a gas or liquid control system with virtually no changes in pressure drop of flow restriction, when the valve is in the open position. The valve minimizes the energy consumed by valves in semiconductor gas systems.
