    摘要: A shut-off valve 1 is a shut-off valve arranged on the downstream side with respect to an exhaust port of a vacuum pump, and includes a valve seat, a valve element, and a pressure receiving portion. The valve element is arranged on the downstream side with respect to the valve seat, and is configured movable so as to contact the valve seat or separate from the valve seat. The pressure receiving portion is arranged on the downstream side with respect to the valve element, and is movable to the valve seat by receiving the pressure of gas flowing back to the valve seat. The valve element is connected to the pressure receiving portion, and moves to the valve seat along with movement of the pressure receiving portion to the valve seat.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a residual pressure valve having a valve body and a valve seat. The valve seat is formed by a flexible tubular piece which is fixed in a housing, consists of an elastomer and surrounds the valve body under elastic prestress. Furthermore, the valve body is formed by an axially symmetrical control element. The control element has a cylindrical, barrel-like or biconical basic shape and has a hollow space in each case starting from each of its axial ends, which is in each case connected via at least one channel to an annular control chamber. The control chamber is arranged in the outer surface of the control element and is separated from the respective other control chamber by a radial intermediate wall resting on the flexible tubular piece.

    摘要: An improved apparatus and method for preventing accidental disconnection of a valve fitting from a compressed gas cylinder (tank) is provided. A valve safety device preferably includes a valve stem having a first threaded section. The first threaded section is preferably configured to engage threads in an internal section of a compressed gas storage device during insertion and reside within an internal portion of the compressed gas storage device following insertion. A non-threaded section is preferably arranged proximal to the first threaded section. One or more vents are preferably provided on the non-threaded section to provide for a safe release of compressed gas from the compressed gas storage device before the first threaded section can be removed from the compressed gas storage device.

    摘要: A gas valve has housing and a barrier. The housing has a passageway with an upstream port and a downstream port. The barrier is disposed across the passageway and is formed from a material which is porous to compressed gas but which substantially prevents a low-pressure liquid from advancing through the passageway downstream of the barrier. The passageway may also contain a gas conditioner and/or a filter that is preferably disposed downstream of the barrier.In another embodiment, a valve comprises an inlet opening, a passageway extending downstream of the inlet opening, an attachment portion near the inlet opening, and a movable cap adapted to cover the inlet opening. The cap has a range of motion between a first position, wherein the cap covers the inlet opening, and a second position outside of the passageway, wherein the cap is displaced from the inlet opening. The cap is biased towards the first position. The gas valve may further comprise a gas regulator in fluid communication with the passageway.
