In a first mode of operation, a clutch is engaged to couple the second planetary gear set to the first planetary gear set and a brake is disengaged to allow rotation of the second planetary gear set and in a second mode of operation, the brake is engaged to limit rotation of the second planetary gear set and the clutch is disengaged.

摘要: A group transmission device includes a main transmission which has a main shaft, a countershaft and a spur gear pair which includes a first spur gear arranged coaxially and axially overlapping with the main shaft and a second spur gear arranged coaxially and axially overlapping with the countershaft. A range group has a first shaft non-rotationally connected to the main shaft, a second shaft non-rotationally connected to a transmission output shaft, a third shaft and a blocking switching unit. A first switching unit non-rotationally connects the third shaft to a housing. A second switching unit has an axially shiftable switching element and non-rotationally connects the third shaft to the first spur gear. The main shaft is coupled non-rotationally to a transmission input shaft. A third switching unit has an axially shiftable further switching element and non-rotationally connects the first spur gear to the first shaft of the range group.

摘要: An electrified vehicle includes a front axle, a rear axle, an engine, a pump, a battery, a first electric motor electrically coupled to the battery, a second electric motor electrically coupled to the battery and configured to drive at least one of the front axle or the rear axle, a first clutch positioned between the engine and the first electric motor, and a second clutch positioned between the first electric motor and the pump. With the first clutch engaged and the second clutch disengaged, the engine is configured to drive the first electric motor to generate electricity to charge the battery. With the first clutch disengaged and the second clutch engaged, the first electric motor is configured to drive the pump. With the first clutch engaged and the second clutch engaged, the engine is configured to drive the pump.

摘要: A variator and a powersplit hybrid are connected in series. The variator is preferably a Milner epicyclic variator which has a ratio range well suited to this application. The variator permits the powersplit to operate at an optimized speed ratio. The variator further permits improved energy capture during regenerative braking. In some embodiments, clutches alternately connect the variator in series with powersplit and bypass the variator.

摘要: A hybrid vehicle includes an engine (10), a first motor generator (MG1), a second motor generator (MG2), a transmission unit (power transmission unit) (40), a differential unit (50), a clutch (CS) and a mechanical oil pump (501). The hybrid vehicle is able to switch between series-parallel mode in which power of the engine is transmitted via the transmission unit and the differential unit and series mode in which power of the engine is transmitted via the clutch. The differential unit (50) is a planetary gear mechanism including a sun gear (S2) connected to the first motor generator (MG1), a ring gear (R2) connected to the second motor generator (MG2), and a carrier (CA2) connected to a ring gear (R1) that is an output element of the transmission unit (40). The mechanical oil pump (501) is driven by power that is transmitted from the carrier (CA2) of the differential unit.

摘要: A transmission unit is able to switch between a non-neutral state where power of an engine is transmitted via a path K1 and a neutral state where power of the engine is not transmitted via the path K1. A clutch is able to switch between an engaged state where power is transmitted from the engine to a first MG and a released state where transmission of power from the engine to the first MG is interrupted. When the transmission unit is controlled to the non-neutral state and, at the same time, the clutch is set to the released state, a vehicle is operable in series-parallel mode. When power is transmitted via the path K2 by directly coupling the engine to the first MG by the clutch and the path K1 is interrupted by controlling the transmission unit to the neutral state, the vehicle is operable in series mode.

The first shaft, the second shaft, the first planetary gear set, the second planetary gear set, the connecting shaft, and the output shaft are radially aligned, forming a straight-thru transmission arrangement.

摘要: A control apparatus for a vehicle includes an engine, a dog clutch and a friction clutch. The dog clutch is configured to transmit power or interrupt transmission of power in a power transmission path that transmits power of the engine to a drive wheel. The dog clutch includes a synchromesh mechanism. The friction clutch is configured to transmit power or interrupt transmission of power in the power transmission path between the engine and the dog clutch. The control apparatus includes: an electronic control unit. The electronic control unit is configured to, when the synchromesh mechanism is operated in order to engage the dog clutch in a state where the vehicle is stopped and the friction clutch is released, increase a rotation speed of the engine as compared to when the synchromesh mechanism is not operated.

摘要: A vehicle includes an engine, a drive axle, a multi-mode transmission, and a controller coupled to the multi-mode transmission. The multi-mode transmission includes a first gear set having a first planetary gear carrier and a second gear set having a second planetary gear carrier, the first planetary gear carrier and the second planetary gear carrier being rotatably coupled, a first motor/generator coupled to the first gear set, a second motor/generator coupled to the second gear set and selectively coupled to the engine, a brake positioned to selectively limit a rotational movement of a ring gear of the second gear set when engaged, a first clutch, and a second clutch. The controller is configured to selectively transition the multi-mode transmission between a mid range mode of operation and a high range mode of operation via an intermediate shift mode of operation.
