摘要: The present disclosure relates to a two-part adjustable potted insert to be received within an insert hole of a honeycomb panel for fastening a threaded fastener thereon. The insert comprises an outer structural member which is configured to be received within the insert hole, and an inner structural member in a releasable engagement with the outer structural member. The outer structural member comprises an external main body which defines an external surface configured to resist pull-out and torque-out to retain the outer structural member in the honeycomb panel when inserted in the insert hole, a threaded opening within the external main body which defines a bottom surface, and a locking recess formed within the bottom surface.

摘要: A bolt arrangement that includes a bolt having an outer circumferential peripheral surface extending in a longitudinal direction of the bolt, and a sleeve providing an outer circumferential peripheral surface and an inner circumferential peripheral surface extending in a longitudinal direction of the sleeve. The inner peripheral surface has a tapering profile in its longitudinal direction. A portion of the outer peripheral surface of the bolt provides a corresponding tapering profile matching the tapering profile of the inner peripheral surface of the sleeve. Furthermore, the inner peripheral surface of the sleeve further includes a groove. A coupling arrangement and a method of dismounting a coupling arrangement is also provided.

The stud receiving assembly has internal retaining channels configured to secure a first end of the stud.

摘要: An insert for use in a sandwich-type structure is provided that includes a housing defining an internal bore, a proximal flange, opposed distal flanges, and an exterior wall portion extending between the proximal flange and the opposed distal flanges. The opposed distal flanges define lateral walls arranged tangentially with a wall of the internal bore. A nut is disposed within the internal bore of the housing and configured to float therein, the nut defines a truncated flange and a hollow shaft extending from the truncated flange. The hollow shaft of the nut defines internal threads and an exterior wall, the exterior wall having a diameter at least equal to a thread lock diameter. A cap is configured for engagement with the opposed distal flanges such that the nut is floatingly captured within the internal bore of the housing.

The retention clip may further include two anti-rotation surfaces extending from the support surface in a non-parallel direction, and at least one angled tab extending from the support surface in a non-parallel direction towards the aperture of the retention clip. The at least one angled tab may be elastic below a preset load placed on the at least one angled tab, and the at least one angled tab may deform and lose its elasticity above the preset load.

摘要: A fastener for use in connection with a tubular boss has a shaft with at least one rib along the length thereof and at least one thread segment extending at least partially around the shaft. The shaft is inserted into the boss in first position, and rotated to a second position wherein the at least one thread segment engages at least one column formed in the tubular boss. The shaft can be integrally formed with a first molded part to be fastened to a second molded part with an integrally formed tubular boss. Various locking features for locking the shaft in the boss are also disclosed.
