The impeller can have a stored configuration and a deployed configuration, the blades in the deployed configuration extending away from the hub, and the blades in the stored configuration being compressed against the hub.

摘要: A fire fighting pump and operation thereof and a fire fighting system and a fire engine, wherein the pump includes a housing, a motor mounted inside the housing and two or more stages of series-connected impeller assemblies. A water inlet is provided on the housing between the motor and the impeller assemblies. The impeller assemblies are mounted on the impeller shaft coaxially and in series with each other. The impeller shaft is fixed on the motor shaft or is coaxial with the latter. The impeller assembly includes a thruster, an impeller, an end cover and a retaining ring on the periphery of the thruster and the impeller, and those four elements are installed in turn. Several first blades are provided in the thruster and several second blades which correspond with the first blades in amount and location are provided in the impeller.

摘要: A turbo blood pump having a small size, that is, a small amount of blood to be filled and capable of adjusting and maintaining the slight amount of flow, and a turbo blood pump in which hemolysis is not likely to occur even if it is used at a practically high rotational speed necessary to obtain a predetermined discharging ability. The turbo blood pump to be used includes a housing having an inlet port and an outlet port; and an impeller disposed rotatably in the housing; wherein the impeller includes at least a rotation shaft and an annular connection portion to which the plural vanes are attached. The vane is manufactured so that an inlet side part is in the skew position with respect to an outlet side part.

摘要: A motor and its blade unit include a blade unit made of a conical fundamental body and a plurality of blades formed around the surface of the conical fundamental body. The blades of the blade unit are multi-sectioned ones of different sizes. These blades increase water flowing speed with help of the centrifugal force produced by rotating of the blade unit, and quickly guide water to flow along the outer wall of a motor and out of the motor, not to flow reversely back to a shaft. At the same time these blades can cut impurities in water preventing the motor from clogged by impurities, increasing water flowing-out speed, lowering motor load and electricity consumption and saving motor horsepower to prolong its service life, and also possible to be combined with various types of motors for extensive use.

摘要: A centrifugal pump with an impeller which has a single helically-formed blade and which is not sensitive to sand abrasion or seizing of the impeller is achieved by providing the impeller (1) with a shielding plate (3) arranged on the suction side which transitions from an axial course given at the suction inlet of the impeller into a radial course, by providing that the blade entry angle (&bgr;1) in the area which is in danger of cavitation in the event of an abrupt onset of flow is at least 5° smaller than the angle of incident flow (&bgr;0), and thereafter the blade angle &bgr; in the axial region of a meridian section through the impeller (1) increases at least to the magnitude of the blade exit angle (&bgr;2), and finally a blade angle (&bgr;) exceeding the blade exit angle (&bgr;2) in the radial area of the meridian section decreases back down to the magnitude of the blade exit angle (&bgr;2).

摘要: A process for producing a vinyl chloride-based polymer by suspension polymerizing vinyl chloride monomer or the like while circulating a reaction mixture in a polymerization vessel by a circulating pump through a circulation line led out from the polymerization vessel to extend through a heat exchanger back to the vessel, wherein the pump comprises a conical hub and an impeller comprised of a spirally shaped single blade provided on the hub, and, during polymerization, the stirring energy (A) applied to the reaction mixture by the stirrer in the polymerization vessel and the circulating energy (B) exerted to the reaction mixture by the circulating pump in the circulation line are controlled so as to satisfy the relationships(A)+(B)=from 1.5 to 4.0 kW/t (1)and(B)/[(A)+(B)]=from 0.1 to 0.6 (2)Polymer scale is prevented from being deposited on inner surfaces of the heat exchanger, circulation piping, circulating pump or the like.
