摘要: An inline valve includes a sliding piston having a radially outer stop portion with a forward end. A radially inner sliding portion is connected to the radially outer stop portion by an arm. A housing includes an outer housing body surrounding the piston. The housing has a stop surface selectively in contact with the forward end of the radially outer stop portion of the piston to block flow for a housing inlet to a housing outlet. The radially inner sliding portion slides on a support tube. At least a portion of the radially inner sliding portion is formed of a first material having better wear resistance than a second material forming the outer stop portion of the piston. The second material has a greater resistance to high temperature and pressure than the first material. A vent valve for a compressor is also disclosed.

摘要: A suction throttling valve adjusts flow of a process gas through an inlet flowline. A compressor pressurizes the process gas. An outlet flowline flows the process gas from the compressor. An anti-surge flowline branching from the outlet flowline directs a first portion of the process gas from the outlet flowline back to the inlet flowline. The anti-surge flowline is connected to the inlet flowline intermediate of the suction throttling valve and the compressor. An anti-surge control valve adjusts flow of the first portion of the process gas through the anti-surge flowline to the inlet flowline. A bypass flowline provides an alternative flow path for a second portion of the process gas flowing through the anti-surge flowline to the inlet flowline around the suction throttling valve. A bypass control valve adjusts flow of the second portion of the process gas through the bypass flowline.

摘要: An apparatus for use in a gas turbine engine is disclosed comprising a bleed valve and an intermediate valve. In use the bleed valve is exposed to a source of pressurised air, and the bleed valve is movable between an open position, in which the bleed valve permits a flow of the pressurised air through the bleed valve and a closed position, in which the bleed valve does not permit a flow of the pressurised air through the bleed valve. The intermediate valve is operatively connected to the bleed valve and configured to selectively open and close the bleed valve, wherein the intermediate valve is configured in a mode of operation to close the bleed valve based on the pressurised air within the bleed valve exceeding a predetermined threshold.

In one example, a compressor may include an impeller rotatable about a central axis and an inlet conduit including a variable inlet device (VID) positioned upstream of the impeller and adjustable between and open position and a closed position that restricts and generates pre-swirl flow to the impeller. The VID may include a plurality of adjacently arranged blades forming a ring around the central axis with inner surfaces of the blades forming a flow passage through the VID, each of the blades being pivotable, about an axis arranged tangent to the ring, between the open and closed position.

摘要: A compressor includes a rotor platform; a rotor blade; and a casing having an inner surface surrounding the tip and spaced radially outwardly from the tip to define a gap. A secondary air flow system includes a bleed inlet configured to remove secondary air flow from the primary air flow; an injection opening disposed in the inner surface of the casing upstream of the bleed inlet; an accessory conduit; and a plenum fluidly coupled to the bleed inlet, the injection opening, and the accessory conduit. The bleed inlet and plenum at least partially define a secondary air flow path such that a first portion of the secondary air flow is directed in through the bleed inlet, through the plenum, and out through the injection opening and a second portion of the secondary air flow is directed in through the bleed inlet, through the plenum, and out through the accessory conduit.

摘要: An ejector for vaporized fuel gas recirculation devices is provided. The ejector for vaporized fuel gas recirculation devices reduces the number of elements equipped in a vehicle and an ejector mounting angle is adjusted to be suitable for a layout environment of the vehicle. Accordingly, a mounting cavity of the vehicle is more efficiently designed. When an intake pressure of an intake manifold is reduced a base component is moved in a direction toward a first nozzle component, and a region of the base component except an aperture closes the first nozzle component.

Additionally, the gas turbine engine includes a bleed air assembly having a plurality of bleed valves positioned in the liner and spaced along a circumferential direction of the gas turbine engine. The bleed air assembly also includes a duct in airflow communication with the plurality of bleed valves and defining an outlet at the casing. The duct provides a flow bleed air from the plurality bleed valves to the outlet during operation.
