摘要： A centrifugal compressor comprises: an impeller; an inlet pipe portion forming an intake passage to introduce air to the impeller; and a throttle mechanism capable of reducing a flow passage area of the intake passage upstream of the impeller. The throttle mechanism includes an annular portion configured to move between a first position and a second position upstream of the first position in an axial direction of the impeller. In a cross-section along a rotational axis of the impeller, an outer peripheral surface of the annular portion is formed to smoothly connect a leading edge and a trailing edge of the annular portion.

摘要： A diffuser system for a centrifugal compressor is provided. The diffuser system includes a nozzle base plate that defines a diffuser gap, support blocks, and a drive ring rotatable relative to the support blocks. The drive ring includes cam tracks and bearing assemblies positioned proximate an outer circumference of the drive ring. The diffuser system further includes drive pins extending through the support blocks and the nozzle base plate. The first end of each drive pin includes a cam follower mounted into a cam track on the drive ring. The second end of each drive pin is coupled to a diffuser ring. Rotation of the drive ring causes axial movement of the drive pins by movement of the cam followers in the cam tracks. This results in movement of the diffuser ring to control fluid flow through the diffuser gap.

The centrifugal compressor includes: an impeller configured to suction a gas to be compressed; a diffuser disposed downstream of the impeller to pressurize the gas, the diffuser comprising a movable ring, a main passage in which the gas flows past the ring, and an openable branch passage; and a circulation loop comprising an inlet and an outlet, the outlet being in communication with an inlet of the impeller; the branch passage is disposed to be in communication with the main passage and the circulation loop when the ring moves into the main passage so that a portion of the gas in the main passage passes through the circulation loop and returns to the impeller so as to be suctioned, and to be closed when the ring is withdrawn from the main passage.

摘要： A draft inducer blower assembly includes a blower having a fan, a dilution air intake passage, an exhaust gas intake passage, and a discharge passage. The blower is configured to operatively connect to a heater system in a manner to facilitate flow of combustion air into a combustion chamber and to draw dilution air into the blower and to mix the dilution air with the exhaust gases and to facilitate flow of the mixed air and exhaust gases through the vent. The dilution air intake passage is positionable in at least a low flow configuration and a high flow configuration. The dilution air intake passage is more restrictive of intake of dilution air in the low flow configuration than in the high flow configuration.

摘要： An inlet guide vane assembly for a centrifugal compressor includes a plurality of guide vanes, a drive structure coupled to the plurality of guide vanes, an actuator; and an actuation mechanism. Rotation of the drive structure is transitions the plurality of guide vanes from a first position to a second position. The actuation mechanism causes the drive structure to transition the plurality of guide vanes between the first and second positions based on operation of the actuator. The actuation mechanism imparts a first amount of rotational force to drive the drive structure when the guide vanes are in the first position, and a second amount of rotational force when the guide vanes are in the second position. The actuation mechanism provides a mechanical advantage to the actuator when the guide vanes are in the first positions as compared to when the guide vanes are in the second position.

摘要： A pump is provided for immersion in a fluid reservoir, such as a pit or lagoon containing liquid manure, from a position at an edge of the reservoir. The pump may be adapted for connection to a farm vehicle, such as a tractor, positioned at the edge of the reservoir. The pump comprises an extensible body, fluid conduit and drive means in order that a length of the pump may be varied in order to accommodate a variety of reservoir fluid heights. In addition, the pump may be pivotable relative to at least a portion of a frame in order that the entrance angle may be adjusted. The pump may comprise a housing with an inlet and an outlet, the outlet in fluid communication with the fluid conduit. An impeller within the housing may direct fluid from the inlet to the outlet in the housing.
