Abstract: A four-quadrant radial piston hydraulic device includes a housing, plunger assemblies, an eccentric spindle rotatably disposed on the housing, pilot-operated check valves one-to-one corresponding to the plunger assemblies, two-way cartridge valves one-to-one corresponding to the plunger assemblies, a distribution shaft and a confluence plate. A reversing slide valve is disposed on the confluence plate. A working method of a four-quadrant radial piston hydraulic device is also provided. When the radial piston hydraulic device is used as a hydraulic motor and a hydraulic pump, it is capable of realizing two-way rotation, which solves a limitation of valve flow distribution in motor application.

Abstract: A fluid end is formed from a first body attached to a separate second body. Each body includes an external surface. When the bodies are attached, their respective external surfaces are in flush engagement. A plurality of bores are formed in the second body that are alignable with a plurality of corresponding bores formed in the first body. The fluid end may be used with seals disposed within recesses within each bore to seal against corresponding sealing surfaces. Further, retaining closures may be bolted to the fluid end bodies, such that the closures have a threadless connection to the fluid end bodies. Various combinations of such components may be utilized.

Abstract: A low-force, non-displacement, micro/miniature valve and/or pump assembly is provided. A tube component having a first side port coupled to an inlet portion and a second side port coupled to an outlet portion can be selectively moved to alternatively couple the side ports to a first or second piston pump chamber. First and second pistons can be actuated after positioning the tube component to either draw in fluid or push out fluid from either the first or second piston pump chambers during each actuation of the pistons. The fluid can be drawn in from a reservoir and can be expelled to a patient for providing a dose of the fluid to the patient.

Abstract: A partial stroke pump or motor includes a piston coupled to a rotating shaft to evacuate a fluid within a cylinder during an upstroke. A latching check valve includes an actuator piston that is displaceable within a center cavity to bypass a blocking member in a bypass state. The actuator piston is driven by a latch supply line. A spool of a rotary valve selectively couples one of the low and pilot pressure supplies to the latch supply line over different timing angle ranges of the rotating shaft. Coupling of the pilot pressure to the latch supply line causes the bypass state. When operating as a pump, the bypass state causes the pressure in the cylinder to fall below the high pressure during part of the upstroke. When operating as a motor, the bypass state allows the fluid to be evacuated from the cylinder during the upstroke.

Abstract: A piston pump for a high-pressure cleaning device is provided, having a pump housing, which includes a first housing part and a second housing part. The first housing part forms a suction conduit and a pressure conduit, and the second housing part forms a plurality of pump chambers into each of which a reciprocally movable piston dips and which are each in flow connection with the suction conduit by way of an inlet channel and with the pressure conduit by way of an outlet channel. The inlet channel can be closed by an inlet valve and the outlet channel can be closed by an outlet valve. The second housing part includes a valve receptacle, and that the piston pump includes an outlet valve assembly, wherein the outlet valve assembly comprises an outlet part, which is inserted into the valve receptacle and forms all outlet valve seats.

Abstract: A valve assembly for use in a fracturing pump including a valve member movable into and out of engagement with a valve seat body. The valve seat body includes an outer surface and an inner surface, the inner surface forming a fluid bore extending between a first end and a second end of the valve seat body. The body further includes a seating surface extending radially from the inner surface and facing the valve member, the seating surface having a recessed area. An insert is disposed in the recessed area forming at least a portion of the inner surface and at least portion of the seating surface. The valve seat body first end has a diameter different from a diameter valve seat body second. The difference between diameters allows the valve seat body outer surface to be supported by the fluid passageway.

Abstract: A pump in desalination systems has four cylinders, each having a double acting piston. Each cylinder and piston defines a feed chamber and a recovery chamber. The pistons connect to a common drive. The connection to the common drive is such that the pistons reciprocate in a sequence equally spaced in time. Reciprocating valving for each piston is driven by the common drive to be 90 degrees out of phase with the respective piston. The valving connects the recovery chamber alternately to an inlet manifold for an intake stroke of the piston relative to the recovery chamber, and to an outlet manifold for a discharge stroke of the piston relative to the recovery chamber. A brief period of closure coincides with top dead centre and bottom dead centre of the piston, during which the recovery chamber is blocked off from both the inlet and outlet manifolds. The reciprocating valving is midway between its top dead centre and bottom dead centre during the period of closure.

Abstract: A piston pump assembly of an electronic controlled brake device for a vehicle includes: an inlet housing configured to accommodate a reciprocating piston and elastically support the piston; an outlet housing configured to accommodate the inlet housing and form a working chamber that allows a working fluid to be introduced from the inlet housing; an outlet ball valve accommodated in the working chamber to open and close a flow passage of the working fluid that is introduced from the inlet housing to the outlet housing; an outlet spring accommodated in the working chamber to elastically support the outlet ball valve toward the inlet housing; and a damper accommodated in the working chamber and mounted within the outlet spring to allow shape deformation while contacting the outlet ball valve. When the outlet ball valve is pushed and pressed toward an end of the working chamber, the damper generates viscous damping while discharging the accommodated working fluid into the working chamber. Accordingly, it is possible to actively reduce noise or vibration upon initial operation of the electronic controlled brake device or in a low frequency section, thereby improving ride comfort.
