    摘要: The disclosure provides a downhole completion device for use in a wellbore and a subterranean production well. In one embodiment, the downhole completion device includes: (1) a hydraulic line controlled device, the hydraulic line controlled device having a control line port and one or more fluid leakage paths, and (2) a density barrier having first and second ends, wherein the first end is coupled to the control line port and the second end is configured to couple to a control line extending from a surface installation, the density barrier having an axial loop relative to the hydraulic line controlled device and positioned below the fluid leakage path, thereby preventing migration of leakage fluid from the one or more fluid leakage paths to the surface installation.

    摘要: An apparatus for containing and controlling the flow of hydrocarbons from a bore well or other earth formation includes a housing enclosing a receiving and distribution chamber, receiving and distribution chamber is in fluid communication with and sealably connected to a top vertical tubular member and a bottom vertical tubular member, wherein the top and bottom tubular members extend from the receiving and distribution chamber to the exterior of said housing. The apparatus further includes a cone aperture adapted to prevent or allow the flow of liquid into the top tubular member, at least one outlet passage between the receiving and distribution chamber and the exterior of the housing, valve means adapted to permit or prevent the flow of liquid through at least one of said outlet passages, and pump devices adapted to facilitate the flow of hydrocarbons through at least one of said outlet passages.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for capping a subsea wellhead is disclosed, including channeling a heterogeneous mixture (HM) into an inlet riser; measuring an initial HM temperature; heating the HM; measuring the temperature of the HM post heating; passing the HM through a common port; passing the HM into an oil baffle chamber; monitoring the interphase of the HM in the oil baffle chamber; passing the HM into a water baffle chamber; monitoring the interphase of the HM in the water baffle chamber; controlling oil and water regulators to achieve substantially laminar flow and separation of the oil and water; heating the gas separated from the HM; measuring the temperature of the separated gas; measuring the density of the gas separated from the HM and if in the gas phase, opening a gas regulator to allow the gas to pass through the gas outlets. Other embodiments are described and claimed.
