    Abstract: A refrigerator which improves the structure of an auto closing apparatus, increases the sealing ability of a door, and omits mounting of a separate spring. The refrigerator includes at least one door opening and closing at least one storage chamber provided in a main body, at least one upper hinge module including a body part and an extension part rotatably coupled to the at least one door, at least one lower hinge module, a door cap installed on an upper portion of the at least one door and including a hinge receiving part, an auto close lever coupled to the door cap and has elasticity to transmit elastic force to the door, and a cam member including a cam surface contacting the auto close lever so that the auto close lever accumulates elastic force and then transmits the elastic force to the door when the door is closed.

    Abstract: An openable and closeable container that includes a container body having a take-out opening; an opening-closing lid provided on the container body swingably about a swing axis X-X on a base end side, the opening-closing lid opening/closing the take-out opening; and plate rubber (an elastic member) provided between the container body and the opening-closing lid. A spring body is provided on the base end side of the opening-closing lid and a sloping portion (a braking portion) with which the spring body comes into contact is provided on the container body side.     Abstract: An electromechanical strut is provided for moving a pivotal lift gate between an open position and a closed position relative to a motor vehicle body. The electromechanical strut includes a housing connected to one of the lift gate and the motor vehicle body. An extensible shaft is slidably mounted to the housing. The extensible shaft is connected to the other of the lift gate and the motor vehicle body. A drive mechanism includes a rotatable power screw. The drive mechanism converts rotary motion of the power screw into linear motion of the extensible shaft to move the extensible shaft between a retracted position corresponding to the closed position of the lift gate and an extended position corresponding to the open position of the lift gate. A power spring includes one end connected to the extensible shaft and another end connected to the housing for providing a mechanical counterbalance to the weight of the lift gate.

    Abstract: A door hinge device includes a hinge shaft fixed to a body of an appliance and having a damping protrusion on one side of an outer surface, and a coupling member having a shaft engaging hole coupled to an outer surface of the hinge shaft. The shaft engaging hole includes a holding portion having an inner diameter corresponding to an outer diameter of the hinge shaft and a damping portion having a larger inner diameter than the outer diameter of the hinge shaft and surrounding the damping protrusion. The damping portion includes a separation section separated from the damping protrusion when the door is closed, and a contact section contacting the damping protrusion when the door is opened. The door hinge device can prevent slamming or trembling when the door is opened or closed, and has a simple configuration.
