Abstract:
A hinge for unhingeable sheet-metal cabinet doors. A first hinge part, to be fastened to the door frame , has a bore hole or roll at a free end, through which a hinge pin extends. A second, U-shaped hinge part is connected to the door and surrounds the exposed end areas of the hinge pin in the mounted position. The U-shaped hinge part surrounds the first hinge part with first U-legs. The U-shaped hinge part includes a top part arranged in a bottom part. The top part has the shape of a U-shaped slide, with second U-legs, arranged to be displaceable between two end positions parallel to the extension of the first U-legs. The ends of the second U-legs close a lateral outlet opening for the hinge pin end in one end position, and expose the opening, through which the hinge pin end passes laterally, in the other end position.
Abstract:
A system for interconnecting multiple panel assemblies comprising a first bracketing body having a first bearing member and at least one planar member; a second bracketing body having a second bearing member pivotally engaged with the first bearing member and at least one planar member; a third bracketing body having at least one planar member; a fourth bracketing body having at least one planar member; a first panel receiving volume at least partially defined by the at least one planar member of the first and third bracketing bodies; a second panel receiving volume at least partially defined by the at least one planar members of the second and fourth bracketing bodies; and wherein the at least one planar members of the second and fourth bracketing bodies at least partially define a second panel receiving volume. According to another aspect of the present invention, a first thermal insulating body is positioned between and separates the first and third bracketing bodies, and a second thermal insulating body positioned between and separates the second and fourth bracketing bodies. According to yet another aspect of the present invention, a fastenerless connection is provided between surfaces of the system and the panel assemblies.

Abstract:
A construction clip includes a pair of generally identical clip members. Each clip member has a base portion and two converging opposing flanges extending from the base portion. The clip members are hinged together at their respective base portions. The converging opposing flanges of each clip member include a generally flat base flange and an opposing clip flange. The base flange presents a generally flat inside surface suitable for contacting a generally flat, thin piece of model construction media. The base flange further includes an opening. The clip flange has a curved distal end that preferably extends to the opening defined in the base flange and a distal edge that curves away from the generally flat inside surface of the base flange. The clip flange has a return flange that originates at a location toward the distal end of the clip flange and extends toward the base portion.
Abstract:
A hinge is disclosed comprising one or more first hinge segments comprising a first surface having disposed thereon: a plurality of spatially separated first lugs each having a first slot formed therein; and a plurality of spatially separated first rods; one or more second hinge segments comprising a second surface having disposed thereon: a plurality of spatially separated second lugs, each second lug having a second slot formed therein; and a plurality of spatially separated second rods. The hinge has a first configuration of partial engagement of the first hinge segment with the second hinge segment where the first slots are aligned and engaged with the second rods; and a second configuration of full engagement of the first hinge segment and the second hinge segment wherein the first slots are rotatably engaged in a direction different than the first configuration.
Abstract:
A door for closing a washing machine which can be loaded from the front or a tumble dryer of this type is connected to the housing by means of a hinge in such a way that the door can be pivoted over a great opening angle and terminates flushly or approximately flushly to the outside with the front face of the housing. To this end, the door-side hinge part is installed and fastened in a recessed receptacle between the frame parts and of the door. The hinge parts and each have a crescent-shaped base plate and which extends along the door frame and reaches beyond the lateral apertures and the bearing blocks which are provided in the frame.
Abstract:
A device for closing a frame, which has a panel mounted removably on and articulated on the frame includes a hook that has, at an end part, a heel that can stop against a surface of the articulation edge of the frame to immobilize the panel in a secure open upright position, generally perpendicular to the frame. The invention can be applied to roads.
Abstract:
A folder-type communication terminal is disclosed in which a gap generated between a first and a second body or a breakage of a side hinge arm can be reduced. The mobile communication terminal includes a first body and a second body rotatably coupled using a hinge, and at least one hinge-reinforcing member disposed between the hinge members of the first and the second bodies.
Abstract:
A hinge includes first hinge connectors having first shaft holes drilled and which are disposed at a rear of a synthetic resin case body that may contain a cosmetic material; a second hinge connector having a second shaft hole drilled and which is disposed at a rear of a synthetic resin lid that opens or closes with respect to the case body. The hinge also includes synthetic resin hinge shafts inserted through the first shaft holes, the second shaft hole, and two protruded fitting parts with a shape of a short cylinder disposed so as to project from end faces of the first hinge connectors and come in abutment with two U-shaped, recessed fitting parts disposed on end faces of the second hinge connector. The recessed fitting parts have an opening to a front side the lid, the opening having a width substantially equal to a diameter of the protruded fitting parts, the recessed fitting parts having a center of curvature that corresponds to a center of the second shaft hole and have a radius of curvature of substantially the same radius of curvature the protruded fitting parts. The hinge prevents shearing forces from acting on the hinge shafts and protects the hinge shafts against shearing fracture.
Abstract:
A door hinge device includes a hinge shaft fixed to a body of an appliance and having a damping protrusion on one side of an outer surface, and a coupling member having a shaft engaging hole coupled to an outer surface of the hinge shaft. The shaft engaging hole includes a holding portion having an inner diameter corresponding to an outer diameter of the hinge shaft and a damping portion having a larger inner diameter than the outer diameter of the hinge shaft and surrounding the damping protrusion. The damping portion includes a separation section separated from the damping protrusion when the door is closed, and a contact section contacting the damping protrusion when the door is opened. The door hinge device can prevent slamming or trembling when the door is opened or closed, and has a simple configuration.
