Abstract:
Bike lane delineators that separate bike and motor vehicle traffic lanes. The bike delineators may include reflective members, alternating colors and hollows.
Abstract:
A collapsible boundary delineator includes a base for placement on a ground surface and a divider member that is movable relative to the base between a raised, operative position and a lowered, inoperative position. The base includes a pair of base members that are engageable with each other, and the divider member includes a pair of spaced apart ends secured one to each of the base members. When the base members are engaged together the divider member is in the raised, operative position and when the base members are disengaged from each other the divider member is in the lowered, inoperative position. A selectively releasable latch arrangement carried by the base members is movable between a latching position for selectively maintaining the base members in engagement with each other and a release position for selectively enabling the base members to be moved apart from each other.
Abstract:
A stackable barrier unit includes: an elongate main body having a top surface, a bottom surface, longitudinal ends, and two sidewalls each having an upper margin joined to the top surface a lower margin extending tower than the bottom surface of the main body. A base width defined between lower outer margins of the sidewalls is greater than a top width of the top surface. Engagement extensions having engagement features extend from the longitudinal ends for linking two or more barrier units together. The engagement features may include a tapered pin and a hole. A rib may connect the first sidewall to the second sidewall below the bottom surface. A channel may be formed in the top surface of the main body directly above and parallel to the at least one rib.
Abstract:
A method of marking a curved median with a passive elongated flexible roadway marking device entails bending the device to conform to the curved bullnose shape of a roadway median, adhesively attaching the device to the surface of the median and then mechanically fastening the device to the median. Bending notches with stress relief vertices may be provided in a flange of the spline to facilitate concave bending of that flange. Attachment holes may be provided in flanges of the spline, in an alternating arrangement. Spaced apart retro-reflective tape strips are applied to the curved outer surface of the protrusion.

Abstract:
A system and method of presenting “one-to-one” advertising within a parking spot and a corresponding parking block display device is presented. The system and method comprise an illuminated advertisement message displayed and directed toward an associated vehicle parking spot, wherein the message comprises indicia corresponding to and tailored toward an intended recipient expected to park a vehicle in the vehicle parking spot. Moreover, the display device may be in the form of a parking block or wheel stop and, in at least one embodiment, includes a housing structured to define an at least partially hollow interior portion. The display device may further comprise an illumination assembly structured and positioned so as to direct a path of light to the exterior of the housing at least partially through one or more display members bearing the message or advertisement.
Abstract:
An elongated lighted system that is modular, being of discreet length having a plurality of LEDs on an elongated support. The system has LEDs connected to a pair of electrical conductors having a length equal to, or less than the discrete length of the elongated lighting system. The elongated lighting system is molded and embedded into transparent, opaque, semi-transparent, or mixed transparent and opaque plastic module connected to an electrical source.
Abstract:
The signaling device (20) has a signaling body (21) and a holding device (22). The signaling body (21) is designed as a cornet-like hollow body which has four wall regions (24; 27) adjoining one another in the circumferential direction, of which two diametrically opposite wall regions (24) form the wide sides of the signaling body (21) and of which the other two likewise diametrically opposite wall regions (27) form the narrow sides of the signaling body (21). The wall regions (27) on the narrow side have the form of a conical shell. The wall regions (24) on the wide side are preferably flat. Between the signaling body (21) and the holding device (22) there is a coupling device (23). The wall regions (27) on the narrow side have above the foot (28) of the signaling body (21) in each case a recess (33; 34), which has a certain height and which extends in the circumferential direction up to the transitional point with the neighboring wall region (24) on the wide side. The holding device may be designed as a base plate (22) for adhesively fixing, as a foot plate for setting up or as a foot bearing bar for setting up and arranging in line a plurality of signaling devices (20).
Abstract:
Landscape edging for defining a border proximate plant life comprises a generally planar member, an interior flange generally parallel to the plane of the member extending along a first portion thereof, and an exterior flange generally parallel to the plane of the member and extending along a second portion thereof. The member further includes a contiguous, raised wall projecting generally perpendicularly to the plane of the member, the wall is interposed between the interior and exterior flanges of the member and extends along the length of the member. The wall cooperates with the interior flange of the member to retain a mulch media thereby, and the wall, the interior and exterior flanges cooperate to limit the growth of undesirable foliage beneath the member. Various shapes of edging are disclosed.
Abstract:
A traffic lane delineator includes an elongate centrally disposed planar strip flanked on at least one side, and generally both sides, by outwardly extending tabs or ribs. The width of each rib may be equal to the space between adjacent ribs or the rib width and spacing therebetween may be varied if desired. This configuration provides an audible warning if a moving vehicle engages and drives upon the ribs. The planar strip preferably also includes a longitudinally extending double yellow line marking which may include reflective material. A physical barrier along the central strip may take the form of spaced-apart stanchions which may include reflective material for visibly delineating the traffic lanes. The delineator may be readily installed on a lane surface as needed as well as removed and rolled or stacked for compact storage.
