摘要: A method for recovering a helium product or intermediate product, wherein a first natural gas stream containing helium is supplied to a first natural gas processing unit and at least one second natural gas stream containing helium is supplied to at least one second natural gas processing unit, at least the first natural gas processing unit comprising helium recovery means via which the helium product is formed from at least a part of the first natural gas stream. At least temporarily a helium transfer from the at least one second natural gas stream to the first natural gas stream by means of a helium transfer arrangement comprising a membrane unit is performed before the first natural gas stream is provided to the first natural gas processing unit and before the at least one second natural gas stream is provided to the at least one second natural gas processing unit.

摘要: In a crude oil purification process including phase separators, a vapor recovery unit (VRU), and dew pointing/dehydration and CO2 removal membranes, instead of compressing the low boiling point (i.e., C1-5) hydrocarbon vapor stream from the VRU along with the main portion of gas from the separation train and feeding it to the membranes, it is compressed and dehydrated along with the H2O/C3+ hydrocarbon enriched permeate from the dew pointing and dehydration membranes.

摘要: Carbon dioxide gas in a high-pressure gas to be treated is stably separated using a separation membrane. Upon separating carbon dioxide gas in a high-pressure gas to be treated using a separation membrane module including a separation membrane, a preliminary boosted gas is supplied to the separation membrane module before the supply of natural gas is started to boost a pressure on a primary side of the separation membrane to a preliminary pressure between a stand-by pressure and an operating pressure. Thus, when the supply of a high-pressure gas to be treated is started to increase the pressure of the separation membrane module to an operating pressure, an abrupt decrease in temperature of the gas to be treated can be suppressed.

摘要: To regenerate, by a simple method, an inorganic separation membrane separating non-hydrocarbon gas contained in treatment target gas. Provided in separating the non-hydrocarbon gas contained in the treatment target gas is a regeneration gas supply path supplying moisture-containing regeneration gas to a primary side of the inorganic separation membrane in a separation membrane module. As a result, it is possible to regenerate the inorganic separation membrane by supplying moisture-containing CO2 gas to the inorganic separation membrane and then supplying dry natural gas. Accordingly, there is no need to use dry regeneration gas and the CO2 gas supplied via, for example, a pipeline can be used as it is.

摘要: A multi-stage membrane system is provided to separate helium from a gas stream such as a natural gas stream. There are at least two permeate streams from a first membrane module. One of the permeate streams is compressed and sent to a second membrane module while one of the permeate streams bypasses the compressor. There are control means provided to determine the flow for these two permeate streams based on factors including the compressor capacity, the concentration of the target component in the combined permeate streams and the capacity of the second membrane module.

摘要: Disclosed are systems and methods for producing oil and gas in a plant while removing hydrogen sulfide and water from fluids produced from oil and gas reservoirs and injecting a sour gas stream containing the hydrogen sulfide into an underground formation. Water-selective membranes are used to debottleneck known systems and methods by removing water from bottlenecked sections of the plant including pretreatment of a sour gas feed to one or more gas processing plants. In other aspects, water-selective membranes are used to debottleneck the pretreatment of an acid gas feed to a Claus unit to convert hydrogen sulfide to sulfur in a gas processing plant. The water-selective membranes pretreat the acid gas feed.
