Abstract:
The present application relates to a high refractive-index composition, a high refractive-index film and a method for producing a high refractive-index film. The present application provides a composition that a high refractive-index film can be produced with a simple coating process and low cost, and a high refractive-index film having a uniform thickness and easy thickness control or molding, as well as having high chemical stability and easy control of physical properties such as transparency or heat resistance, can be produced, a high refractive-index film using the same and a method for producing a high refractive-index film.

Disclosed is a polymetalloxane including a constituent unit represented by the following general formula (1), which stably exists in a transparent and uniform state in a solution and can form a homogeneous cured film: wherein R1 is an organic group and at least one of R1 is an (R33SiO—) group, R3 is optionally selected from specific groups, R2 is optionally selected from specific groups, when plural R1, R2, and R3 exist, they may be the same or different, M represents a specific metal atom, m is an integer indicating a valence of a metal atom M, and a is an integer of 1 to (m−2).

Polyheterosiloxane compositions are disclosed containing at least 70% by weight of the following components: (A) a first metal (M1) selected from Ti, Zr, or Zn, (B) a second metal (M2) selected from a non-lanthanide metal, (C) siloxy units having the formula R2SiO2/2 or R′SiO3/2, where R′ is independently a hydrocarbon group or halogen substituted hydrocarbon group containing 1 to 18 carbon atoms. The disclosed compositions are useful to prepare high refractive index materials.

A transparent siloxane resin composition for optical applications is provided including: (1) a vinyl-oligosiloxane hybrid prepared by a non-hydrolytic condensation reaction of an organoalkoxysilane having a vinyl group or a mixture of an organoalkoxysilane having a vinyl group and a metal alkoxide with an organosilanediol; (2) an organohydrosilicone compound having two or more silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms; and (3) a metal catalyst. The resulting transparent siloxane resin exhibits excellent light transmittance, light resistance and heat resistance, has refractive index and hardness suitable for optical applications, including optical devices, displays, LEDs or the like, and experiences little contraction during processing.

A polygermane compound comprising a sulfur atom-containing organic group as a group bonded to a germanium atom, in which the sulfur atom-containing organic group is a group of Formula [1]: -L-Z [1] where L is a single bond, a C1-6 alkylene group, or a C4-20 arylene group optionally substituted with a C1-6 alkyl group; and Z is a C1-20 sulfide group, a C1-14 cyclic sulfide group optionally substituted with a C1-6 alkyl group, a C2-20 alkyl group containing a sulfide bond, or a C5-20 aralkyl group containing a sulfide bond, with a proviso that when L is a single bond, Z is not a C1-20 sulfide group.

Disclosed are a resin composition for laser engraving, comprising (Component A) at least one polymer selected from the group consisting of following (Component A-1) to (Component A-3), (Component B) a polyfunctional ethylenically unsaturated compound, and (Component C) a polymerization initiator, (Component A-1) a polyisoprene that is a plastomer at 20° C. and does not have an ethylenically unsaturated group at the ends of the main chain, (Component A-2) a polybutadiene that is a plastomer at 20° C. and does not have an ethylenically unsaturated group at the ends of the main chain, and (Component A-3) an unsaturated polyester urethane that is a plastomer at 20° C., has an ethylenically unsaturated group in the interior of the main chain, and does not have an ethylenically unsaturated group at the ends of the main chain.

Disclosed are: a solid polymethylaluminoxane composition which does not utilize silica or the like, has the form of relatively fine particles, has more uniform particle sizes, and exhibits a high polymerization activity when used in the preparation of an olefin polymer; a process for producing the solid polymethylaluminoxane composition; a polymerization catalyst; and a process for producing an olefin polymer. Specifically disclosed are: a solid polymethylaluminoxane composition which has an aluminum content of 36 to 41 mass % and contains a methyl group derived from a trimethylaluminum moiety at a molar fraction of 12 mol % or less; a process for producing the solid polymethylaluminoxane composition, which comprises the step of heating an aromatic hydrocarbon solution containing polymethylaluminoxane and trimethylaluminum to cause the precipitation of the solid polymethylaluminoxane composition; a polymerization catalyst for an olefin, which comprises the solid polymethylaluminoxane composition and a transition metal compound as catalyst components; and a process for producing an olefin polymer by using the polymerization catalyst.

A water-capturing or drying agent placed in a hermetically sealed field light emission device for maintaining stable light emission of the light emission device not susceptible to moisture and oxygen for long period of time. The drying agent comprises a compound of polymer formed by bonding M constituting a plurality of organometallic compounds wherein M is a trivalent metal atom with an oxygen molecule. The drying agent is placed in the hermetically sealed container, thereby protecting the field light emission device from being adversely affected by damage from trace amounts of moisture permeating from outside the hermetically sealed container and/or adhered to the inner surface thereof.
