摘要: A waterborne polyurethane acrylate emulsion, comprising the following raw material components: a polyurethane acrylate prepolymer and a polyurethane acrylate oligomer. After ultraviolet curing, the waterborne polyurethane acrylate emulsion exhibits excellent mechanical strength and good wear resistance. The matt coatings produced therefrom has a fine matt fineness after curing.

摘要: The present invention provides a “living” radical polymerization method for a vinyl monomer by near-infrared photothermal conversion. The method comprises irradiating a reactor with near-infrared light of 750-850 nm, wherein the reactor has a first chamber and a second chamber that are isolated from each other, the first chamber contains an organic solution of a near-infrared light responsive croconaine dye, and the second chamber is provided with a closed reaction flask containing a reaction solution, the reaction solution comprises a vinyl monomer, two or more of an ATRP initiator, an ATRP ligand, an ATRP catalyst, an RAFT reagent, a thermal initiator, and an additive, and an organic solvent; and the near-infrared light responsive dye converts the near-infrared light into heat energy, by which the reactor is heated to 50-100° C. to polymerize the monomer in the reaction solution, to obtain polymers with controlled molecular weights and molecular weight distributions.

摘要: Embossing resins, methods of manufacturing such resins, and electrokinetic display system, which includes display cells containing such resins. The resins include a fluoropolymer in weight percentage 5%-60%, a difunctional diluent in weight percentage 0-30%, a monofunctional diluent in weight percentage 0-40%, a urethane diacrylate or functionalized nanoscale material, e.g., a functionalized urethane material, in weight percentage 5-50%, a photoinitiator in weight percentage 0.5-5%, and a surfactant in weight percentage less than 0.5%. The difunctional diluent may be Hexanediol Diacrylate, and the monofunctional diluent may be a monofunctional hydrocarbon. The resins are made by identifying a target index of refraction for a cured state thereof, and combining together, by weight percentage, the constituent components to produce the liquid state version of the embossing resin having a desired composite index of refraction.

摘要: The present invention provides a resin composition for a model material, for obtaining an optically shaped article that has flexibility and does not crack even when it is bent, and a method for manufacturing optically shaped articles that are shaped using the resin composition for a model material. The present invention relates to a resin composition for a model material, comprising, based on 100 parts by weight of a whole resin composition, 20 to 90 parts by weight of a (meth)acrylate monomer represented by the following formula (1) and/or a (meth)acrylate monomer represented by the following formula (2) as a monofunctional monomer (A), and 5 parts by weight or more of a polyfunctional oligomer as an oligomer (B), and further comprises no or 15 parts by weight or less, based on 100 parts by weight of the whole resin composition, of polyfunctional monomer (C), wherein R1, R2 and R3 each independently represent a hydrogen atom or a linear or branched alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms.

The method includes a molding step of irradiating a composition filled in the cavity of a mold with electromagnetic waves having a wavelength of from 0.01 m to 100 m, and molding the composition into the 3D object. The composition for molding a 3D object contains a solvent and at least one of a polymer and a polymerizable monomer.

摘要: Disclosed are photoinitiators that are ultra violet (UV) reactive. The photoinitiators can be polymerized into polymeric backbones for use in UV curable hot melt pressure sensitive adhesives. The preferred polymeric backbones are acrylic-based polymers. The photoinitiators are very UVC sensitive and have excellent hot melt viscosity stability that is many fold higher than existing photoinitiators. The subject photoinitiators feature aryl ketones linked through an ether linkage to a variety of connector sequences that allow for polymerization of the photoinitiators.

摘要: An object of the invention is to provide a curable composition having a HALS skeleton and capable of producing polymers having excellent weather resistance and outer appearance. The present invention provides a curable composition including at least a monomer component that contains a monomer (A) represented by a certain formula and a monomer (B) polymerizable with the monomer (A). In the curable composition, the content of the monomer (A) is 0.01 to 35 mol % in the monomer component, and the content of the monomer (B) is 65 to 99.99 mol % in the monomer component.
