    摘要: Method for controlling a water treatment installation having a supply, an ozonisation stage, a transfer stage, a biological filter and a discharge having the following steps: measuring a first parameter set in the supply, wherein, a measurement for a first concentration of micro-contaminations and/or a nitrite concentration is determined; controlling the ozonisation stage in such a manner that an ozone supply is carried out in a preselected ratio to the measured first parameter set; measuring a second parameter set in the transfer stage, wherein, a measurement for a second concentration of micro-contaminations is determined; controlling the ozonisation; measuring a third parameter set in the discharge, wherein, with reference to the third parameter set, a measurement of a third concentration of micro-contaminations is determined; if the measurement for the concentration of micro-contaminations exceeds a predetermined maximum value in the discharge, increasing the ozone supply.

    摘要: A process and apparatus to remove and breakdown volatile organic compounds from drinking water, groundwater, wastewater, frack water and air exhaust. The process entails filling a tank, chamber, pipe, or column with ozone-containing gas, introducing into this ozone-containing gas-filled tank, chamber, pipe or column, very small droplets of water, contaminated with volatile organic compounds which then volatilize out from the water and break down in the ozone gas thereby improving the water quality and associated air quality. The current invention has been shown to achieve more than 99% combined removal efficiency. The process can also be used to treat air streams containing volatile organic compounds. To increase efficiency, ozone is introduced where the atomized particles are smallest. Three configurations utilizing said process include upward and downward spray of contaminated water into ozone and pumping through openings in an enclosure to a reaction chamber filled with ozone-containing gas.

    摘要: A system delivers water with at least a threshold concentration of ozone to an exit point. Ozone is injected into water flowing into a tank. The ozone concentration in the tank is monitored by a first sensor. Once the water in the tank has at least the threshold concentration of ozone, the water may be pumped to an exit point. A second sensor in proximity to the exit point monitors the ozone concentration of the treated water in proximity to the exit point. If the water in proximity to the exit point has at least the threshold concentration of ozone, the system allows a portion of the treated water to exit the system to a point of use. The second sensor in proximity to the exit point assures the treated water that is actually delivered to the exit point has at least the threshold value of ozone concentration.

    摘要: A mobile water treatment system is disposed on a trailer of a truck. There is an intake filter, an intake hose, a pump or multiple pumps for water intake and sending water throughout the system, a filtering section that may include sand and/or bag filter or other types of filters, an ozone treatment section after the filters, a holding tank after the ozone section, a UV treatment section after the holding tank, and a chlorination tank. The water may then be sent to a water storage facility or other place as desired. The system includes a generator for power to run the system, and a controller for the system. The ozone section makes use of a misting nozzle in order to increase ozone contact time, and decrease ozone breakdown. The UV section makes use of a slightly downward tilted table with UV bulbs and reflectors above it, and preferably is mounted on a leveling system. A method of treating water uses the mobile system.

    摘要: This invention presents a unique gas/liquid contact chamber that produces intimate contact between a gas, such as ozone, and a liquid in a manner that promotes the greatest possible mass gas transfer of the gas into the liquid. This contact chamber may be coupled with other contaminated water treatment technologies giving contaminated water treatment systems that produce pure water. By the use of combinations of selected technologies specific contaminated water treatment problems, such as disinfection of wastewater treatment plant effluents or portable water treatment systems for emergency use, may be developed. Such water treatment systems also combine the use of fine spray technology, gas/liquid mixing technology, and fine bubble technology for mass gas transfer of gas into liquid. The contact chamber and the systems it can be combined with, are all simple, economical, easily constructed, and highly flexible in application and physical arrangement.
