Abstract:
Methods for treating fluid overload in a subject comprise shifting fluids directly and non-invasively from an interstitial compartment of the subject to skin of the subject through controlled local sweating. Methods of the invention allow for removal of excess fluid from the interstitial compartment of the subject and treat fluid overload in the subject. Sweat stimulation systems comprise a chamber and first and second relative humidity sensors. The chamber is sized to fit around a body part of a subject, comprises an inlet and an outlet, and is configured such that air flows through the chamber from the inlet to the outlet. The first relative humidity sensor is operably located inside the inlet, and the second relative humidity sensor is operably located proximate the outlet.
Abstract:
Devices and method for warm gas therapy is provided. Device comprises a gas warmer assembly to warm a first gas to a temperature in a first temperature range to obtain warm first gas. The device comprises a first delivery unit that can deliver the warm first gas to a main treatment chamber which encloses a sub-treatment chamber to retain heat therein. A second delivery unit can receive a therapeutic gas from a gas supply. The second delivery unit comprises a first portion and a second portion. The first portion substantially passes through the first delivery unit and therapeutic gas in the first portion is warmed by the warm first gas. The second portion delivers the warm therapeutic gas to a sub-treatment chamber. The sub-treatment chamber encloses a body part of a patient.
Abstract:
A system and method for cleaning a body of a person. The system includes an envelope extending between a top member and a base member, and several rings disposed between the top member and the base member. The envelope, the top member, and the base member define an enclosure of the system. Each ring has several spaced apart nozzles along its circumference and nozzles connect to an air pump. A person can stand on the base member, while the top member can surround the neck of the person. Air under low pressure can then impinge on the body of the person below the neck to remove dirt and dead skin. The dirt and dead skin suspended in the air are drawn through a vacuum source from the inner volume of the enclosure.

Abstract:
A energizing bed, primarily comprising an enclosed space of the bed with a power control box and a door for entering and exiting. A heating apparatus is connected to the base board of the bed while an anion generator and oxygen generator are attached to the outside of the bed body. One of the bed ends has air holes for supplying anions and oxygen as well as being the side to mount the power control box, which will control the heating apparatus, anion generator, and oxygen generator. This allows the person to be treated to lie down on the bed and revitalize oneself by allowing cell metabolism to happen in its ideal environment.
Abstract:
A carbon dioxide gas mist pressure bath apparatus for preventing, improving or curing an ischemic disease by contacting a carbon dioxide gas mist to a skin and a mucous membrane of a living organism directly or through a clothing, thereby to improve or promote a circulation of a blood in an ischemic region, includes a carbon dioxide gas mist-enclosing unit; a gas supply unit for supplying a carbon dioxide gas; a carbon dioxide gas mist generating and supplying unit for pulverizing and dissolving the carbon dioxide gas into a liquid, and supplying the carbon dioxide gas mist into the carbon dioxide gas mist-enclosing unit; an exhausting device for exhausting the gas in the carbon dioxide gas mist-enclosing unit to an outside thereof; and a control device for controlling a supplying amount of the carbon dioxide gas mist from the carbon dioxide gas mist generating and supplying unit.
Abstract:
Provided are a gas mist pressure bathing method and a gas mist pressure bathing system that improve the efficiency of absorbing a gas mist from the skin and mucous membranes of a living body. The gas mist pressure bathing method is provided with a first step, a second step and a third step. The first step involves supplying a gas mist for a predetermined time to at least a first cover 51 of a living body cover member 50 having said first cover 51 and a second cover 55 positioned outside of the first cover 51, the inside of said second cover 55 being substantially sealed; covering the skin and mucous membranes of the living body; and forming a space wherein the gas mist supplied by a gas mist generating means 30 is sealed. The second step involves discharging the gas mist from the first cover 51 and/or the second cover 55. The third step involves supplying the gas mist for a predetermined time from the gas mist generating means 30 to the first cover 51 and the second cover 55, and keeping the pressure inside at least the second cover 55 in a predetermined range. The first to third steps are repeated multiple times.
Abstract:
The invention is to provide a gas mist pressure bath system, which is possible to control the amount of gas and liquid, pressure and others, and cause a gas mist to be absorbed through a skin and mucous membrane of a human living body under an optimum condition. In the system, a mist is prepared at a density of not less than a predetermined value by pulverizing and dissolving carbon dioxide or oxygen or a mixed gas of carbon dioxide and oxygen and a liquid, and the thus prepared gas mist is directly contacted to the skin and mucous membrane of the living body, and the system comprises a gas supply means 11, a liquid supply means 21, a gas mist supply means 31 for generating and supplying the gas mist generated by storing a liquid inside thereof, and while applying supersonic vibration to the liquid, concurrently injecting a gas into the stored liquid, and a living-body cover member 41 for covering the skin and mucous membrane of the human living body and forming a space for sealing inside the gas mist supplied from the gas mist supply means, and the gas mist within the living-body cover member 41 is caused to contact the skin and mucous membrane of the living body at pressure of not less than a predetermined value.
Abstract:
Provided is a pressurized carbon dioxide bathing apparatus for bringing carbon dioxide into contact with skin of a living body by a predetermined pressure value or more using compressed air, and thereby enabling carbon dioxide to be absorbed efficiently from the skin, and the pressurized carbon dioxide bathing apparatus is comprised of a carbon dioxide supply means 1 for supplying a mixed gas of carbon dioxide and water vapor containing one or a plurality of chemical agents, a compressed air supply means 2, and a cover suit 3 of a two-layer structure having an enclosed layer 4 that is connected to the carbon dioxide supply means 1 via a connector 6 to confine the mixed gas supplied from the carbon dioxide supply means 1 so as to bring the mixed gas into direct contact with skin of the human body and an enclosed layer 5 that is connected to the compressed air supply means 2 via a connector 7 to confine compressed air supplied from the compressed air supply means 2, where the carbon dioxide is brought into contact with skin of the human body with a predetermined pressure value or more by the compressed air.
