摘要: A misfuelling prevention device for preventing inappropriate fuel from being added to a vehicle utilizes a diameter difference between a gasoline gun and a diesel gun in order to prevent misfuelling. The misfuelling preventing device is constructed such that when the diesel gun having a relatively larger diameter is inserted, a locking button is not pressed while a flapper is opened, whereas when the gasoline gun having a relatively smaller diameter is inserted, the locking button is pressed while the flapper is not opened. As a result, misfuelling of the vehicle with inappropriate fuel is fundamentally prevented.

Fluid storage and dispensing systems achieve zero or near-zero headspace character, and prevent or ameliorate solubilization effects in liquid dispensing from liners in overpack vessels.

摘要: A method and device to insure that a particular dispensing package (18) can only be engaged into an appropriate dispensing location (14). Specifically, the package and the dispenser have mating concentric rings (24, 30) (or portions thereof) to prevent engagement and dispensing of an inappropriate product. In one embodiment, the package (18) is provided with one or more concentric ring projections (24) (or portions thereof) and the dispenser (10) is provided with one or more matching concentric ring recesses (30). The projections and the recesses have similar diameters to define a mating set. In some embodiments, the concentric ring projections are placed on a closure (20), such as a cap, of the package. In alternative embodiments, the projections are placed on the dispenser and the recesses are placed on the package.

摘要: The present invention is directed to a filler assembly for dispensing liquid to and from a container capable of storing an indicated liquid. The filler assembly has a portable part and a stationary part cooperating to provide a sealed dispensing means for communicating an indicated liquid from an indicated liquid source to a container and for safely communicating the indicated liquid from the container to another location. The portable part and the stationary part are adapted to sealably mate together and further provide means for preventing misassembly of the two parts. The portable part provides dispensing means capable of communicating the liquid from the stationary part to a remote location. The stationary part is adapted to further sealably mate and communicate with a container capable of storing an indicated liquid.

摘要: A fluid transfer nozzle for fuel oil and other fluid products allows for the one step removal of locking caps for vertical filling pipes. The locking cap includes a detent mechanism that, under the force of gravity, engages an obstruction within an input port of the pipe, preventing its rotation and therefore its removal. The nozzle has a socket within its mouth that engages the cap to allow rotation of the cap with rotation of the nozzle. Also within the nozzle mouth is a magnetic element that generates a magnetic field to draw the detent mechanism into an unlocked position against the force of gravity. With the cap so unlocked, the nozzle may be rotated to loosen the cap and allow its removal.

摘要: The invention relates to a security system for flowable products in storage and/or transportation tanks, which have openings at least for filling, removing and/or controlling purposes. The security system comprises a control device and write-read devices for data exchange with connection elements connectable to the openings. The connection elements have a code mark or a tag. With each opening is clearly associated a tag. With each opening is also associated a closure element as a connection element, on which is located the tag associated with the opening. The associations of tag and opening are controllable and storable in the control device and in the case of a specific association of all the tags with the particular openings a manipulation-free state can be displayed by the control device.
