The tank closure should be easy for a user to handle and have a relatively simple design and be economical to manufacture. The device discriminates between nozzle diameters, allowing entrance of nozzle diameters at or greater than a predetermined minimum diameter while inhibiting entrance of nozzles having diameters less than the predetermined minimum diameter. A closure mechanism prevents access to a fuel container interior and a releasable locking mechanism responsive to nozzle diameters allows the closure mechanism to open and close to allow access to the fuel container interior.

The opening and closing valve includes a valve mechanism that maintains a closed state of the drain hole through negative pressure suction by a volatile fuel suction mechanism attached to the nozzle.

    摘要: A misfuelling prevention device for preventing inappropriate fuel from being added to a vehicle utilizes a diameter difference between a gasoline gun and a diesel gun in order to prevent misfuelling. The misfuelling preventing device is constructed such that when the diesel gun having a relatively larger diameter is inserted, a locking button is not pressed while a flapper is opened, whereas when the gasoline gun having a relatively smaller diameter is inserted, the locking button is pressed while the flapper is not opened. As a result, misfuelling of the vehicle with inappropriate fuel is fundamentally prevented.

    摘要: A capless refueling mechanism includes a fill opening side shut-off valve disposed near the fill opening, and a fuel tank side shut-off valve disposed nearer to a fuel tank than the fill opening side shut-off valve. The refueling auxiliary device has a guide pipe section and a funnel section, and pressing of the fill opening side shut-off valve and the fuel tank side shut-off valve via an end of the guide pipe section causes a valve element to be moved away from a seat portion and insertion of a nozzle into the funnel section allows refueling. The outer circumferential surface of the guide pipe section is provided with an enlarged diameter section that regulates a valve opening degree of the valve element of the fuel tank side shut-off valve.
