摘要: A plate belt of a moving walkway has plates arranged in succession in a movement direction and between two mutually parallel link chains formed by chain links of different widths. Each chain link is connected with one of the plates by at least one fastening device. The fastening devices include a fastening bolt and a cup washer, wherein the cup washer has a cup base ring and a cup collar encircling the cup base ring. The inner height of the cup collar corresponds with the thickness of at least one chain link strap of the chain link and the inner diameter of the cup collar is greater than the outer diameter of the region of the fastening bolt bearing against the cup base ring in the mounted state.

The transport-monitoring module has a sensor and localization devices. During the transport, through an interface unit, a connection with a data memory of the device is created. The interface unit is configured so that transport-monitoring data that are to be stored, which are based on sensor data of the sensor and localization data of the localization devices, are permanently stored in the data memory. In this way, the transport-monitoring module is simplified, so that it is no longer an item that is worth stealing. In addition, a reliable access to the stored transport-monitoring data after the end of the transport is secured.

The detection device includes a detection member having a first end side and a second end side, that is pivotally supported about a shaft passing through an intermediate portion between the first end side and the second end side and parallel to a direction of a center shaft of rolling of the roller, and is disposed above the linear portion of the rail so that the first end side can make contact with an outer peripheral surface of the roller rolling on an upper surface of the linear portion of the rail, a biasing means to bias the first end side to rotate toward the linear rail beneath the first end side, and a switch provided to transmit a signal in accordance with the rotation of the detection member due to the biasing.

摘要: A shopping cart conveyor system is designed to shut the system down in the event that a shopping cart becomes jammed. The system includes a track operable to guide a shopping cart between a first location and a second location, and a drive assembly for moving a shopping cart along the track. The drive assembly includes engagement members movable relative to the track and operable to engage and move a shopping cart from the first location to the second location, and a drive motor (e.g., an electric motor) operable to provide movement to the engagement members. A force sensor detects a parameter (e.g., motor current) of the drive assembly corresponding with a force required to move the engagement members. A controller receives information regarding a frequency of change in the parameter and compares that information to a known value (e.g., a frequency of the engagement members). Preferably, the controller is programmed to stop the drive motor when the frequency of change of the parameter falls within a certain range of the parameter (e.g., frequency of the engagement members).
