摘要： A paper warping detection device includes an input tray, a processor, a first emitting element, a first receiving element and a first analog-to-digital converter. A first critical value is stored in the processor. The first emitting element is electrically connected with the processor. The first receiving element is disposed to the other side of the input tray. The first receiving element and the first emitting element face each other. When the first emitting element is switched on, the first emitting element emits first ultrasonic wave signals towards the first receiving element. The first analog-to-digital converter is electrically connected with the first receiving element and the processor for converting the first ultrasonic wave signals into first digital signals and outputting the first digital signals to the processor. The processor reads the first digital signals and compares the first digital signals with the first critical value.

摘要： A sheet stacking system is disclosed that has improved tolerance for sheets that are not flat. Successive sheets are aligned onto a stack by a plurality of registration belts. The heights of the pivoting registration belts are compared with one another to determine the unevenness of the top of the stack. This unevenness is represented by the difference between the heights of the highest and lowest registration belt Δstack-height and is monitored to quantify the planarity of the top of the stack. When the unevenness (Δstack-height) exceeds a threshold, the system switches to a modified method to control the elevation of the stack. This method may include stopping the machine from stacking before the unevenness is too large for the registration belts to uniformly drive sheets. This invention prevents the stacker from attempting to stack when sheets are expected to skew thereby preventing jams and unusable stacks.

摘要： A bump alignment assembly using at least two input media feeds for use in an imaging device. Two spaced apart media guides form a tunnel-shaped bubble chamber about a media path. Two media feed roll pairs are positioned adjacent to the entrance of the bubble chamber. The width of the entrance to the bubble chamber is equal to or greater than the separation of the feed nips of the two media feed roll pairs allowing two or more media paths to be accommodated without the use of media path extensions. A bump alignment roll pair is adjacent the exit of the bubble chamber. Entry, exit and biasing surface features of the media guides provide for buckling and bubble formation of media being fed into the bubble chamber.

The pressing member includes an attaching portion to which a weight member having a predetermined weight is attachable.

摘要： An image forming apparatus according to one aspect of the present disclosure includes an image forming portion, a curling correction portion, and a speed control portion. The image forming portion forms an image on a recording medium. The curling correction portion has one pair of rollers composed of members that respectively have different elasticities and are pressed against each other, and corrects curling that has occurred in the recording medium after image formation performed thereon by the image forming portion, by conveying the recording medium sandwiched with the roller pair. The speed control portion changes a conveyance speed of the recording medium by the roller pair based on a density value of an image formed on the recording medium.
