    摘要: An ink supply device includes a plurality of ink containers, a plurality of heater units, a frame, a lower fixing member and an upper fixing member. In the ink container, ink is stored. The heater units are arranged in a horizontal arrangement direction. The heater unit includes a tube in which the ink fed from the ink container is passed, a hearer heating the ink passing through the tube and a casing by which the tube and the heater are supported. In the frame, the ink containers and the heater units are stored. The lower fixing member is fixedly mounted to the frame and holds all lower portions of the heater units. The upper fixing member is detachably mounted to the frame and holds all upper portions of the heater units.

    摘要: A sheet discharging device discharges a sheet to a sheet tray on which the sheet is to be placed. The sheet discharging device includes a discharge path configured to discharge the sheet to the sheet tray, a discharging portion arranged in the discharge path and configured to discharge the sheet passing along the discharge path to the sheet tray, and a pressing member capable of changing a posture between a hanging posture where the pressing member hangs down from a pivot center above the discharge path so as to block the discharge path for the sheet and a retracted posture where the pressing member is pivoted in a discharging direction about the pivot center to open the discharge path by receiving a pressing force in the discharging direction from the sheet. The pressing member includes an attaching portion to which a weight member having a predetermined weight is attachable.

The subsidiary discharge roller 24 is provided on the most downstream side of the subsidiary conveyance path 22. The subsidiary stacking tray 26 is arranged above the main stacking tray 19 and the transfer sheet P discharged from the subsidiary discharge roller 24 is stacked in the subsidiary stacking tray 26. A stacking concave portion 29 which expands a stackable area of the subsidiary stacking tray 26 is formed below the subsidiary discharge roller 24.

    摘要: An image forming apparatus includes a transport guide member, and a detection mechanism. The transport guide member guides a recording medium. The detection mechanism detects presence or absence of the recording medium. An actuator portion of the detection mechanism includes a shaft portion and a detection portion configured to swing about the shaft portion when abutting the recording medium. A first guide rib of the transport guide member is provided with a notch portion through which the shaft portion penetrates. The shaft portion is provided with a second guide rib configured to close an opening of the notch portion viewed from an axis direction of the shaft portion.

    摘要: An image forming apparatus includes an image carrier, a developing device, a transfer section, a main body frame, a fixing device, a discharge section, a recording medium conveyance path, an openable/closable member, a cover sheet, a cover moving mechanism, a cooling section, and a slide member. The cover sheet is reciprocatable between a protection position at which it covers a side of the image carrier that faces the recording medium conveyance path and a retraction position at which it is arranged in a clearance between the image carrier and the main body frame. At the retraction position, the cover sheet blocks an air flow passage between the cooling section and the fixing device. The slide member is disposed at a lower end corner portion of the main body frame, and contacts the cover sheet reciprocating between the protection position and the retraction position.

    摘要: A fixing device has a fixing member, a guide member, and a blowing member. The guide member is pivotable to be located selectively either in a first position where it guides a recording medium to a fixing nip and a second position where it shuts a recording medium transport passage. When the fixing member is driven to rotate, the guide member is located in the first position to guide air blown from the blowing member to opposite ends of the fixing member. When the fixing member is not driven to rotate, the guide member is located in the second position to let air blown from the blowing member pass between the guide member and the fixing member.

A holding metal plate holds the wiper and includes a communication portion which connects together an upper space and a lower space. The communication portion has an ink guide member. The ink guide member has an upper opening and a lower opening. The length of the upper opening in the direction perpendicular to the wiping direction is larger than the length of an ink ejection face. The length of the communication portion is smaller than the length of the ink ejection face.
