Abstract:
A paper sheet sorting unit where a second guide path (2) is formed between the first sorting member (11) and the second sorting member (12), a first guide path (1) is formed on the exterior of the first sorting member (11), and a third guide path (3) is formed on the exterior of the second sorting member (12), the first sorting member (11) is driven by a power transmitted from an exterior to guide the paper sheets to the first guide path (1), the second sorting member (12) is driven by the power transmitted from the exterior to guide the paper sheets to the third guide path (3), and the first sorting member (11) and the second sorting member (12) are respectively driven in an opposite direction by the power transmitted from the exterior to guide the paper sheets to the second guide path (2).
Abstract:
Systems, devices and methods for receiving an item in a receptacle are disclosed. Features are disclosed for receiving and guiding an item in a receiving space of a receptacle so as to attenuate or remove the impact force of the item on the receptacle. Some embodiments of the disclosure include a bumper having an impact surface which absorbs most or all of the impact force of the item and thereby mitigates or removes the imposition of cyclic impact loads on the receptacle from repeated receipt of items. The bumper may be structurally and/or functionally de-coupled or otherwise physically separated from the receptacle such that an advantageous division of labor is created between absorbing the impact and receiving the item. This disclosure may be useful, for example, in modern industrial operations where a high volume of items are received daily, such as in mail sorting and handling operations.
Abstract:
A feeder includes a pressing section that presses a medium after a feeding force is applied on the medium in a direction in which a leading edge of the medium set in a setting section in a feeding direction abuts on an abutment section during feeding of the media by a feed roller.
Abstract:
A sheet storage apparatus having a sheet conveying portion and a sheet storage portion to receive the sheet as conveyed upward from below by the sheet conveying portion and to store the sheet in a vertical direction. The sheet storage portion includes a guide portion, first and second holding members. The first holding member forms a first nipping portion between the first holding member and the guide surface. The first holding member permits the sheet to be conveyed upward to pass through the first nipping portion, and holds the sheet by restricting the sheet from moving downward at the first nipping portion. The second holding member forms a second nipping portion between the second holding member and the guide surface. The second holding member permits the sheet to be conveyed upward to pass through the second nipping portion, and holds the sheet at the second nipping portion.
Abstract:
This invention regards to a sheet storage apparatus. A forward and reversely rotatable conveying roller 301 which conveys a sheet to a tray 330 is disposed at a sheet conveying path R which guides the sheet conveyed from an image forming apparatus main body to the tray of the sheet storage apparatus 300. A retraction path 503 where the sheet is conveyed by reversely rotating the conveying roller is branched from the sheet conveying path upstream of the conveying roller. When plural sheets are stored in the tray, the sheets are conveyed to the retraction path by reversely rotating the conveying roller until a final sheet has been conveyed from the image forming apparatus main body, and when the final sheet has been conveyed, the sheets conveyed to the retraction path and the final sheet are conveyed in a state of being overlaid on one another to the tray.
Abstract:
A container and a system for the processing of bank notes which are present as separate units. Beginning with a container for the processing of bank notes which are present as separate units, having a housing, open on one side, for the receiving of bank notes standing on their longitudinal edges, the container can be subdivided by means of separator elements, and the separator elements have free gaps toward the interstices formed therebetween.

Abstract:
One object is to provide a paper sheet handling apparatus in which a paper sheet stacked in a stacking unit is surely pushed toward an opening in the stacking unit. The paper sheet handling apparatus includes a feed unit that feeds a paper sheet, a transport unit that transports the paper sheet fed by the feed unit, a stacking unit that stacks therein the paper sheet transported by the transport unit and has an opening for removing the paper sheet stacked therein, a pushing member that pushes the paper sheet present in the stacking unit toward the opening, a pressing member that presses the paper sheet pushed by the pushing member, and a control unit that controls driving the pressing member based on an operation of the pushing member.
Abstract:
Automatic loading/unloading apparatus (1) for automatically loading flat articles (200) stacked on edge into storage trays (300) and for automatically unloading flat articles (200) stacked on edge therefrom, each of the storage trays (300) having a bottom plate (301) provided with a through window (306), said automatic loading/unloading apparatus having a stationary actuator (4) in register with said window and a moving actuator (5) that receives said storage tray (300) and that is mounted to move between: a waiting position in which said stationary actuator (4) is set back from said moving actuator (5) and is not in contact with said flat articles (200); and an unloading position in which said stationary actuator (4) passes through said window (306) while carrying said flat articles (200) until it comes flush with said stacking zone (3) suitable for receiving said flat articles (200) without said storage tray (300) being interposed between said flat articles (200) and said stacking zone (3).
Abstract:
An apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus includes a document processor and electronics connected to the document processor. The electronics includes a document sensor system and means for determining a document processing situation of a plurality of document processing situations. The document sensor system is connected to the means. The plurality of document processing situations include a single document situation and a double document situation.
