    Abstract: A conveying unit of a textile machine has an endless circulating and drivable conveying element, the conveying element having a conveying area on an outer side thereof to receive and convey textile material. Opposite side walls are disposed to hold the textile material in the conveying area in a transverse direction of the conveying element. A sealing device is arranged between each of the side walls and the conveying element such that an interior space enclosed by the conveying element is at least partially sealed with respect to the textile material. The sealing device includes a sealing element connected to the conveying element so as to extend transversely away from and above the outer side of the conveying element.

    Abstract: Conveyor support rail attachment, comprising a plurality of attachment means arranged spaced apart along a longitudinal centre axis, where every second attachment means is arranged on a leftside of the centre axis and every other attachment means is arranged on a right side of the centre axis, and where each attachment means is provided with a bearing surface adapted to bear against a side section of a support rail, such that the support rail is supported only on one side at each attachment means. The advantage of the invention is that a support rail can easily be mounted to and removed from the conveyor support rail attachment, and further that the bearing surface between the support rail and the attachment means can be minimized. This allows for a support rail that is easy to clean.

    Abstract: A conveyor for conveying products in a vertical direction comprises a frame and a drivable conveyor belt supported by the frame and following a helical track about a central centerline. The belt is provided with movable slats having upwardly directed support faces. Inner rollers and outer rollers are present at the lower side of the belt having inner axes and outer axes of rotation, respectively, which are angled with respect to the support faces. The outer rollers are located at a larger distance from the centerline than the inner rollers. The frame is provided with a first guide face for supporting the outer rollers in an outward direction which first guide face is radially directed in the outward direction and with an upwardly directed second guide faces for supporting the belt in the upward direction, which second guide face lies at a distance from the first guide face.

    Abstract: An accumulating portal conveyor comprises a conveyor belt, a frame for supporting and guiding the belt, which frame includes a first helical path and a second helical path spaced from the first helical path, a bridging path and a return path. Under operating conditions the belt successively follows the first helical path upwardly, the bridging path, the second helical path downwardly and the return path, and such that in transverse direction of an upright plane through central centerlines of the first and second helical paths. The bridging path includes a static part having a fixed position with respect to the helical paths and a dynamic portion displaceable in transverse direction of the upright plane to change the path length of the belt. At least a portion of the return path is displaceable for compensating the change of the path length of the belt at the bridging path.

    Abstract: This invention is a vacuum belt conveyor designed to operate inverted and move articles suspended from its lower side rather than laying on top. This is achieved by the use of a matching toothed drive roller and toothed belt having its teeth facing outward and pierced between strategic teeth with vacuum cups secured through the holes. Vacuum is applied when needed to sections of a vacuum rail spring loaded against the smooth inner surface of the belt, the rail having a machined vacuum groove in horizontal alignment with the holes in the belt to provide vacuum to the cups. The belt and suspended articles secured to it by suction are held to the main frame by two retaining rails having clearance allowing passage of the cups.
