Abstract:
A tube head assembly includes a tube head that includes a solid insert forming a lid closing the neck, a cap that includes a punch, and a removable spacing ring disposed against the shoulder around the neck. The ring and the cap are formed integrally in one piece and are joined by material bridges and configured in such a way as to allow sliding of the cap through the ring after breakage of the material bridges, characterised in that the ring includes internal stops adapted to limit the movement of the cap through the ring in such a way as to keep the punch spaced from the lid when the cap is screwed onto the neck and butts against the ring.
Abstract:
A composite capsule and variants thereof for closing and sealing bottles and similar containers, which is essentially composed of two elements: a rigid capsule (2) and an extensible plastic diaphragm (2), integral therewith. Various processes for making the composite capsule and variants thereof. Said composite capsule and the variants thereof may be fitted in a single step on to bottles (1) and similar containers, by using conventional sealing apparatus. The capsule may also have an axial extension in the shape of a drinking-glass (30) whose specific function is supplemented by a tamperproof seal function.
Abstract:
A closure assembly is provided that includes an outer cap with a skirt dimensioned to telescope over the open top end of the tube. An annular shoulder extends inwardly from the top end of the skirt and includes an aperture through which a needle may be directed. A laminated seal is bonded to the bottom surface of the annular shoulder of the outer cap and extends continuously across the aperture in the annular shoulder. A stopper is secured on the bottom surface of the annular seal and is dimensioned for sealing engagement in the open top of the tube. Outer circumferential portions of the bottom surface of the laminated seal between the skirt and the stopper are bonded to the open top end of the tube. The bond between the closure and the laminated seal is stronger than the bond between the tube and the laminated seal. Thus, the closure assembly retains its structural integrity after opening of the tube and can be used to reseal the tube.
Abstract:
A container assembly configured to maintain a predetermined humidity for storing a product therein. The container assembly includes a container having a body with a body wall and a mouth opening into a storage cavity and a cap having a top wall. The cap is selectively mountable over the mouth of the container to substantially enclose the storage cavity in a mounted configuration. A sidewall extends substantially perpendicularly from one of the body wall and the top wall. The sidewall defines an opening and a compartment and has an opening edge adjacent the opening. A moisture control material is positioned within the compartment. A sealing membrane has a peripheral portion. The peripheral portion is secured to the sidewall proximate the opening edge. The sealing membrane is configured to allow moisture flow therethrough to maintain the predetermined humidity in the storage cavity.
Abstract:
A perforable container cap having a top surface that includes a central aperture covered by a membrane that is thin, relative to the thickness of the rest of the cap structure, and, therefore, relatively easy to pierce or puncture with a sampling tube or needle. Embodiments of the container cap may include a membrane comprising a thin plastic, rubber or foil.
Abstract:
Plastics material seal (1) for containers (10), comprising a receiving region, for receiving an opening portion (10a) of a plastics material container, and comprising a puncturing region (2), which is suitable for being and intended to be penetrated by a piercing means in a predetermined piercing direction (L), this puncturing region (2) being arranged on a lid surface (1a) of the plastics material seal. According to the invention, the plastics material seal (1) comprises a reinforcing means (20), which is arranged offset from the puncturing region (2) in the piercing direction and which is suitable for increasing a force which counteracts the piercing means through the puncturing region (2) during the piercing process, the plastics material seal (1) advantageously being formed in a single part.

Abstract:
A dispensing cap for storing one or more ingredients in the cap body until the time of use. The stored ingredients in the cap are dispensed manually into a primary container for mixing. The dispensing cap includes a push-pull, flow-through drinking spout with a fluid valve for opening and closing the fluid flow from the primary container. The dispensing cap body includes several elements all of which are formed in a single molded cap body. The storage chamber of the dispensing cap includes a foil seal that can be partially opened by an activating member manually connected to the drinking spout for dispensing the ingredients into the primary container. The cap body is threadably attached to a primary container threaded neck.
Abstract:
A dispenser for viscous foods like condiments, batter and syrups employs a flexible plastic bag made of a flexible plastic material, one side of which or one end of which is formed to have a self-sealing, orifice formed in the wall of the bag by two slices or cuts in the plastic material. The cuts or slices form flexible vanes which deflect outwardly responsive to pressure from a viscous material and which return to their original shape when pressure on the food product is reduced or eliminated.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a closure cap (1) comprising a cap (2) and a cap base (3) in addition to an inlet (9) which is arranged in the base of the cap (3). Said inlet is closed by a membrane seal (4) which can easily be penetrated. Said closure cap also comprises a covering disk (7) which is arranged on the external side of the base of the cap (3) which covers the inlet (9) and the membrane seal (4). The aim of the invention is to produce a closure cap (7) which, according to a manipulation test, enables a container provided therewith to refilled in a precise manner, and whose membrane can be penetrated and which is easier, faster and more simple for the user to recognize. According to the invention, the covering disk (7) is transparent in at least one area covering the membrane seal (4).
