Abstract: A food storage container including a case having an open side and forming a storage space and a case cover configured to be detachably coupled to the case so that, when coupled to the case, the case cover covers the open side of the case and seals the storage space, the case cover including a receiving portion forming a receiving space configured to accommodate a gas absorbent, and having a discharge hole between the receiving space and the storage space, a valve to open and close the discharge hole in response to a pressure inside the storage space, and a receiving portion cover configured to be detachably coupled to the receiving portion so that, when coupled to the receiving portion, the receiving portion cover seals the receiving space, wherein a gas flowing from the storage space through the discharge hole to the receiving space is adsorbed by the gas absorbent.

Abstract: A device and a method for packaging and storing valuable articles with anti-counterfeiting function, wherein a reader transmits an induction signal to a carrier that accommodates a valuable article. When a wireless communication element disposed on the valuable article transmits the identification information stored by itself when receiving the induction signal. When a communication unit disposed on the carrier receives the identification information, a processing unit analyses the identification information and presents the analyzed identification information through a display unit. In this way, users can directly know the information of the valuable article, thereby identifying the authenticity of the valuable article. In addition, the wireless communication element and a box for accommodating the carrier have a structure to prevent damage. When they are removed by external force, the original state cannot be restored.

Abstract: A thermoformed thermoplastic clamshell for packaging alive plants. The clamshell has a base unit with a leaf compartment and a root ball compartment. The leaf compartment has a lid pivotally coupled to its top and configured to snap fit and lock to the leaf compartment using tongue-and-groove type locks. The root ball compartment has a bottom wall that is elevated approximately one-third the height of the leaf compartment. A second lid pivotally coupled to the root ball compartment, in combination with the bottom wall of the root ball compartment, acts like a clamp to secure the root ball of a live plant. The second lid has a clamping groove with a flat bottom wall lowered approximately one-third the height from the top of the leaf compartment to define a rectangular channel within the root ball compartment for securing the root ball of a live plant.

Abstract: A tamper-evident container formed by thermoforming includes a tub having a bottom and a sidewall forming an interior volume. The container has a lid with an edge extending peripherally outward therefrom which is configured to mate with the tub edge to close the container. The lid edge has an inner portion and an outer portion with a perforated section therebetween. The perforated section extends continuously around the entire periphery of the lid, whereby the outer portion forms a tamper-evident seal removable from the inner portion for removing the lid from the tub. Texture elements are distributed around the outer portion of the lid edge which are configured to provide a visual indication of the presence of the tamper-evident seal. The tub edge is disposed beneath the outer portion of the lid edge and extends peripherally outward so that a substantial part of the outer portion of the lid edge does not extend below the tub edge in a vertical direction of the container in an upright orientation. A tab extends from the outer portion of the lid edge and below the tub edge in the vertical direction of the container.
