摘要: A steering control device includes an electronic control unit. The electronic control unit is configured to perform end contact relaxation control for correcting a current command value such that a decrease of an end separation angle indicating a distance of an absolute steering angle from an end-position-corresponding angle is limited when the end separation angle is equal to or less than a predetermined angle and to perform partial release control for decreasing a correction value of the current command value due to execution of the end contact relaxation control based on a steering torque which is input to a steering system when a vehicle is intended to travel while turning at the time of execution of the end contact relaxation control.

摘要: A control device includes a processor and a storage device storing a program for controlling an operation of the processor. The processor determines whether a vehicle is in a straight-ahead traveling state, based on a vehicle speed detected by a vehicle speed sensor, a steering wheel torque applied to a steering wheel, and a steering wheel angle as a rotation angle of an input shaft. The processor stores the steering wheel angle in the memory when determining that the vehicle is in the straight-ahead traveling state. The processor stores the steering wheel angle in the memory multiple times when determining that the vehicle is in the straight-ahead traveling state. The processor calculates a corrected steering angle amount from a weighted average of the steering wheel angles stored in the memory.

摘要: An absolute steering angle sensor includes a single main gear having first gear teeth with a first pitch, second gear teeth with a second pitch, wherein the first and second gear pitches are different. A first magnet gear is driven by the first gear teeth, wherein the first magnet gear has a first gear profile and a first diameter. A second magnet gear is driven by the second gear teeth, wherein the second magnet gear has a second gear profile and a second diameter. The first and second gear profiles are different, and the first and second diameters are different. A first magnet rotates with the first magnet gear and emits a first magnetic field, and a second magnet rotates with the second magnet gear and emits a second magnetic field. A sensor assembly measures strengths of the first and second magnetic fields and calculates an absolute steering angle.

摘要: A method for compensating a steering wheel angle signal, which is subject to an offset, in a vehicle, includes: a filtering step; and a use step. In the filtering step, the steering wheel angle signal is filtered while the vehicle is traveling, using a filtering rule, in order to obtain a mean value of the steering wheel angle signal. The steering wheel angle signal is filtered if a lane and/or a roadway of the vehicle meets predetermined criteria. In the use step, the mean value is used to compensate the offset.
