摘要: A system and method of hands-off signature detection may include applying a unique sinusoidal motor command to an EPS or handwheel actuator of a vehicle and monitoring attenuation of the unique sinusoidal motor command to determine if a user's hands are on or off of a handwheel of a vehicle. Attenuation of the unique sinusoidal motor command may occur due to the physical presence of a driver's hand(s) on the steering wheel.

摘要: Provided is a steering system for a vehicle that can accurately determine a degradation level of a steering actuator according to a traveling state of the vehicle. The steering system for the vehicle includes; a steering mechanism configured to steer wheels; a steering actuator configured to apply a driving force to the steering mechanism; and a controller configured to control the steering actuator. The steering mechanism includes a rack shaft that is movable in a vehicle width direction from a prescribed reference position. The controller is configured to calculate an evaluation value according to a use state of the steering actuator and to determine a degradation level of the steering actuator by comparing the evaluation value with at least one threshold that is set based on a moving amount of the rack shaft from the reference position and a vehicle speed.

摘要: A method for diagnosing a functionality having an input or output signal with discrete values or discrete classes of values which are observable quantities of a diagnosis functionality. The signal to be diagnosed is the input or output signal, where the values or classes of values have a cardinality N, where N error counters are provided. The method includes providing a sum signal from the sum of the signals of the error counters. When a value or a class of values is erroneous, the method includes incrementing the signal of the error counter assigned to the erroneous value or the erroneous class. When the value or the class is correct, the method includes decrementing the signal of the error counter assigned to the value or the class and when the sum signal exceeds a pre-established limit value, the method includes outputting an error message of the functionality.

摘要: Methods and systems are provided for controlling a vehicle comprising an Electric Power Steering System (EPS). In an embodiment, a method includes learning, by a processor, a non-linearity of a boost factor associated with the EPS; determining, by the processor, a deboost factor based on an inverse relationship of the learned non-linearity of the boost factor associated with the EPS; and generating, by the processor, a steering command to the EPS based on the deboost factor.

摘要: Methods and apparatus are disclosed herein to center a steering wheel. An example vehicle includes a steering position sensor to identify a steering wheel position, a pinion angle identifier to compare a first steering position angle to a second steering position angle, the second steering position angle corresponding to a centered steering wheel position, and an angle modifier to adjust the first steering position angle to match the second steering position angle.

摘要: A steering system for a motor vehicle may include a steering wheel actuator mechanically connectable to a steering wheel of the motor vehicle, and a control unit operably coupled to the steering wheel actuator. The control unit may be configured to determine a target steering wheel torque via which the steering wheel actuator is activatable. The target steering wheel torque may be determined from a present state parameter of the motor vehicle using a steering wheel torque algorithm. The control unit may be configured to determine whether the target steering wheel torque is considered plausible or not plausible based on the present state parameter of the motor vehicle via a plausibility algorithm, determine a fallback steering wheel torque via an auxiliary algorithm, and use the fallback steering wheel torque instead of the target steering wheel torque as a target steering wheel torque request if the target steering wheel torque is not plausible.

摘要: In a vehicle, apparatus, and method for damping a steering system, which is assisted by a motor of the vehicle, and in which the motor assists a driver of the vehicle in moving a toothed rack of the steering system in a motor mode of the motor and the motor is rotated in a generator mode of the motor by a movement of the toothed rack, a speed of the motor is determined. The damping is performed if the speed exceeds a first threshold value and the motor is operating as a generator, and the damping is suppressed if the motor is operating as a motor or the speed falls below the first threshold value or a second threshold value.

摘要: A steering control device is configured to control a steering system including a turning mechanism that includes a motor configured to generate a motor torque that serves as power for moving a turning shaft to turn turning wheels of a vehicle. The steering control device includes a control unit configured to control a target control value serving as a target of a control value for controlling the motor torque of the motor. The control unit is configured to perform compensation for the target control value; acquire an offset value; and change the target control value such that the acquired offset value decreases gradually.
