摘要： A vehicle seat includes a seat pad; a backboard disposed on a back side of the seat pad; and a seat cover covering the seat pad and the backboard. The seat cover includes a pair of covering pieces adjacent to each other on the backboard-side, and a slide fastener that connects the covering pieces. When the slide fastener is closed with use of a slider, an end portion of the slide fastener is projected from an edge end of the seat cover in a state where the slider is disposed in the end portion of the slide fastener. The backboard is provided with an insertion portion. When the end portion of the closed slide fastener is disposed on a reverse side of the seat cover, the end portion of the slide fastener and the slider are inserted in and locked to the insertion portion.

摘要： A rear seat cover article including a portion that allows for a stowable seat arm to pass through and completely cover with full coverage of all points on the rear seat simultaneously is provided. Such an article includes a versatile middle access panel with a stowed inner cover that unfolds on demand to provide coverage of the subject extended seat arm as well as possible draping downward or fitting around the lower edges of such an arm. The overall configuration includes a complete middle panel to fold from the rear back portion to place on the seat portion, thereby allowing for the seat arm to be unstowed to full extension. The middle panel then returns to its original position with a middle opening provided for the arm to extend through. A middle flap then unfolds and extends to provide top cover and at least side cover for the unstowed arm.

An adjustable cover assembly is operable between stowed and deployed positons relative to a position of the headrest bun and is configured to cover the linkage system in use. The adjustable cover assembly includes first and second members, wherein the first member is coupled to the linkage system for movement therewith and the second member is pivotally coupled to the first member. A gap is defined between the first member and the second member, and the gap is maintained by a plurality of spacers disposed on the first member as the cover assembly moves from the stowed position to the deployed position with the headrest bun.

A frame is disposed between the back panel and the cushion assembly. A peripheral cushion structure supports a periphery of the cushion assembly. A closeout panel is coupled with the back panel and is disposed behind the cushion structure to define a peripheral gap between the closeout panel and the cushion structure that extends around the sides of said seatback assembly. A shingled portion of the closeout panel extends behind and couples with the back panel. An airbag is coupled with the frame and is configured to deploy between the closeout and back panels.
