摘要: A passenger cabin heating system of a vehicle includes: a passenger cabin heat exchanger configured to transfer heat from a fluid within the passenger cabin heat exchanger to air passing the passenger cabin heat exchanger; a blower configured to blow air past the passenger cabin heat exchanger and into a passenger cabin of the vehicle; a housing; the fluid within the housing; and a propeller disposed within the housing and surrounded by the fluid and configured to rotate with a wheel of the vehicle, thereby warming the fluid within the housing.

摘要: A system for PTO-driven refrigeration includes a generator that is configured to be mechanically connected to a power takeoff (PTO) and a converter that is configured to receive AC power from the generator and is operable to convert the AC power to DC power. The generator is connected to a charge controller that is connected to an energy storage element. The energy storage element is connected to a controller configured to receive DC power and provide AC power to a motor. The motor may be mechanically connectable to a refrigeration system. The energy storage element is further configured to receive power from a second charge controller that receives power via an AC power input or solar system.

摘要: Methods and systems are provided for adjusting an amount of friction brake effort and an air conditioning compressor load to collect water for water injection into an engine. In one example, a method may include adjusting the AC compressor load of a mechanical air conditioning system and an amount of friction brake effort based on a water level in a water storage tank of the water injection system. Further, the method may include adjusting a ratio of the AC compressor load to friction brake effort to deliver a driver demanded brake effort.

摘要: A motion driven cooling system configured to operate with one or more transportation devices. The motion driven cooling system includes a moving object in communication with a transportation device. The moving object transfers power from the movement of the transportation device and operates a water pump system and a fan system. The cooling system includes a water housing configured to retain water. The water pump communicates with the moving object and is configured to move water from the water housing to a second location where the water passes through one or more elements and returns to the water housing. The fan communicates with the moving object and is configured to move air across the water at the second location so as to lower the temperature of the air. An outlet port directs the flow of air as desired.

摘要: A rotational speed control apparatus for an engine is provided. The engine is configured to drive a compressor for air conditioning. The rotational speed control apparatus includes an electronic control unit. The electronic control unit is configured to: (a) correct a calculated value of the load torque in accordance with a deviation between a rotational speed of the engine and the target rotational speed, as changeover transition period control, in a changeover transition period; and (b) set an execution period of the changeover transition period control such that the execution period in a changeover transition period from the stopped state of the compressor to the driven state of the compressor becomes longer than an execution period of the changeover transition period control in a changeover transition period from the driven state of the compressor to the stopped state of the compressor.

摘要: The present invention affords a regenerative electric drive refrigerated unit for a conveyance vessel, thereby providing temperature cooling in a compartment of the conveyance vessel. An electricity generator powers a compressor unit in the refrigeration unit. The electricity generator is powered by a drive mechanism obtaining its energy from the motion of the conveyance vessel such that when the invention is employed, a diesel engine that normally powers the compressor unit in the refrigeration unit is disabled and stops running, thereby saving energy and reducing air pollution otherwise generated by the burning of fossil fuels when the diesel engine is running.

摘要: An electromagnetic drive has a uniquely mounted electric coil located within an annular recessed member of the electromagnetic drive to electrically ground the coil to the recessed member along the inner periphery of the coil. A power lead is ultrasonically welded to an insulated outer lead wire of the electric coil so as to have the power lead angularly contact the conductive portion of the lead wire. Energization of the coil by a current passing from the lead wire to the grounded coil produces an electromagnetic field which controls the application of torque between a driving member and a driven member of the electromagnetic drive. The method of mounting the electric coil includes a step wherein the coil is interference pressed onto the annular recessed member in a manner which removes the electrical insulation from the radially inner windings of the coil to electrically ground the coil to the recessed member.

A non-electronically controlled belt driven continuously variable transmission transmits power from a gas powered internal combustion engine under the rear cargo box to a pair of front wheels and pair of rear wheels, the continuously variable transmission biased to ratios where the engine runs at over about 5000 rpm.
