    摘要: A vehicle rear suspension structure includes a torsion beam and a pair of arm units. Each of the arm units includes a trailing arm formed in a tubular shape extending in the vehicle front-rear direction, an end plate occluding a rear side opening of the trailing arm, an upper reinforcing member, and a lower reinforcing member. A shaft insertion hole is formed in an inner side portion of a rear arm of the trailing arm, the upper reinforcing member is joined to the rear arm to fit an upper side edge portion of a peripheral edge portion of the shaft insertion hole, and the lower reinforcing member is joined to the rear arm to fit a lower side edge portion of the peripheral edge portion of the shaft insertion hole.

    摘要: A rear suspension structure includes left and right trailing arms, left and right hub carriers, and a lateral beam. Each hub carrier includes a front arm portion extending in a direction inward in the vehicle width direction and frontward of an axis of the rear wheels, and a rear arm portion extending rearward of the front arm portion. Each trailing arm has a rear end portion coupled to the hub carrier or the lateral beam via a first coupling portion that is a bushing. The lateral beam includes a left beam extending inward in the vehicle width direction from the rear arm portion disposed on a left side of the vehicle, a right beam extending inward in the vehicle width direction from the rear arm portion disposed on a right side of the vehicle, and left and right second coupling portions displaceably coupling the left beam and the right beam.

    摘要: The twist axle assembly includes a twist beam which is made of a single integral piece, extends along a length between opposite ends and the twist beam has an open cross-sectional shape between the ends. The twist beam is stamped into a U-shape with a middle section that extends in a first direction between a pair of trailing arm sections. The trailing arm sections extend at least partially in a second direction that is generally transverse to the first direction to reduce twisting stresses within the trailing arm portions during operation of the twist axle assembly.

The cross-beam member has a wall thickness that varies longitudinally along the length of the cross-beam member from the torsionally elastic central portion to each of the torsionally stiff connection regions.

    摘要: A semi-independent suspension system adapted for a rear or front drive and optionally steerable axle system of a low-floor heavy vehicle, comprising a twist beam axle assembly (1), a Panhard rod (8), and a pair of spring and shock absorber systems (9). The twist beam axle assembly (1) comprises a pair of rigid longitudinal trailing arms (3), a pair of wheel mounting members to lower the cross-beam relative to the wheel axis (2) and a straight cross-beam (7). The cross-beam is set in the right and left trailing arms and the wheel mounting members by an interference fit technique. The cross-beam (7) has an open-section and is rigid in bending but flexible in torsion. The shape of the cross-section is specifically tailored to increase and control each of the vertical and horizontal bending stiffness (7). The cross-section is characterized by having horizontal and vertical lines of symmetry, but with asymmetric horizontal and vertical geometries. The combination of features of the twist beam axle assembly (1) provides for a full flat floor without slope or extra height over the axle.
