    摘要: A wheel axle suspension of a vehicle, comprises an axle body having a rectangular cross section, a flexible trailing arm extending in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle and crossing the axle body substantially perpendicular, and at least one clamping strap assembly for clamping the axle body and the trailing arm together. The trailing arm has a front spring portion extending in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and is provided with an axle seating portion adjoining the front spring portion at a rear end thereof. The axle seating portion comprises a longitudinal portion extending substantially in line with the front spring portion, and a downwardly extending portion extending substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal portion. The axle body is received in the axle seating portion with the upper side and rear side facing the longitudinal portion and the downwardly extending portion respectively. The axle seating portion of the trailing arm has an axle body facing surface having three engagement areas engaging the axle body respectively at the front upper corner, the rear upper corner and at a region at or adjacent the lower rear corner of the axle body. Between said engagement areas there is a clearance between the axle body facing surface of the axle seating portion and the upper side and rear side of the axle body.

    摘要: A vehicle wheel suspension of a control blade design has three wheel-guiding control arms essentially oriented in the transverse direction of the vehicle and one longitudinal control arm fastened rigidly to the wheel carrier and barely limiting its transverse movement with respect to the vehicle body. The longitudinal control arm is constructed of a fiber composite material and is also rigidly fastened to the vehicle body and thereby takes over the function of a main spring between the wheel carrier and the vehicle body. Other than stop springs integrated in a vibration damper, no further main spring element is provided between the wheel carrier and the vehicle body. The above-mentioned longitudinal control arm may be formed by two, in a wide area, individual control arm parts, which are essentially situated in a common vertical plane, specifically such that the first control arm part of the longitudinal control arm is fastened to the wheel carrier above the wheel center, and second control arm part is fastened to the wheel carrier below the wheel center. The two control arm parts, guided together with their other ends in a common fastening element, are, as required, slightly elastically fastened to the vehicle body.

    摘要: The present disclosure provides a suspension system for a vehicle that includes a primary load bearing system and a secondary load bearing system. The primary load bearing system is disposed between a frame and an axle of the vehicle, and is continually loaded. The secondary load bearing system is also disposed between the frame and the axle of the vehicle, but the secondary load bearing system is operable between a loaded condition and an unloaded condition. During the loaded condition, the secondary load bearing system is contacted by an engaging member attached to the frame such that a load carried by the vehicle is supported by the primary load bearing system and the secondary load bearing system. During the unloaded condition, the secondary load bearing system is isolated from the frame and the axle.

    摘要: A suspension apparatus for an automotive vehicle employs, as its main element, a main suspension member 10. The main suspension member 10 includes a main portion 12 constituted by a pipe; two body-side attachment portions 14, 16 that are fixed to opposite ends of the main portion 12, respectively; and a wheel-side attachment portion 18 that is fixed to a rear-side portion of the main portion 12. The opposite ends of the pipe constituting the main portion 12 are located near to each other, such that the main portion 12 has a generally C-shaped configuration in its side view. The body-side attachment portions 14, 16 are attached to a body of the vehicle such that those portions 14, 16 are pivotable about their pivotal axes. The pivotal axes of the two body-side attachment portions 14, 16 are offset from each other in a direction perpendicular to those axes, or are inclined relative to each other. Otherwise, those pivotal axes are offset from each other in the direction perpendicular thereto, and simultaneously are inclined relative to each other. The wheel-side attachment portion 18 is attached to a wheel-holding member, not shown, that holds a wheel 30 such that the wheel 30 is rotatable. Thus, the main suspension member 10 can function as both a suspension spring and a suspension link.
