摘要: A motor vehicle rear axle is of the type having two longitudinal trailing arms. Each trailing arm has a stub-axle bracket at one rear end and, at an opposite front end, a substantially transverse axis of rotation defined by a first joint and a second joint which are intended to be connected to the vehicle body. A first and a second support element are located respectively in front of and behind a trailing arm on the side of its second joint. The free ends of these support elements, located in the longitudinal and vertical median plane of the rear axle, are kept at a longitudinally fixed distance by a connecting element.

摘要: A pivot joint for connection between first and second suspension members in a vehicle suspension permits adjustment of wheel alignment characteristics without removal or disassembly of the pivot joint. Wheel alignment adjustment may be accomplished with mutual rotation of engaged components of the pivot joint, wherein engaged guide structures of the pivot joint component convert the mutual rotation to translational movement of one pivot joint component relative to the other pivot joint component. The translational movement may be oriented to selectively adjust wheel alignment characteristics.

摘要: Remote control vehicles may benefit from a chassis that is easy to adjust. For example, an adjustable chassis may contain a front suspension arm that quickly and easily allows shock position changes without requiring disassembly of the shock and while maintaining the same suspension travel. The adjustable chassis may contain a rear camber block with camber inserts that quickly and easily allow changes in roll center without having to remove ball studs. The adjustable chassis may also include a rear shock tower that sweeps forward to allow mounting of the wing closer to the front of the vehicle, thus improving vehicle aerodynamics.

摘要: Provided is a vehicle which, when a pair of left and right wheels are displaced with respect to the vehicle body due to the difference in drive force between the wheels, the two wheels are reliably displaced vertically in opposite directions such that neither wheel is disproportionately displaced and such that both wheels are steered during said displacement of both wheels vertically in opposite directions. An electric motor applies drive torque to the front wheels individually. A vehicle body frame supports the front wheel support member to allow rotation about a forwardly inclined steering axis (Lf). By allowing rotation of the front wheel support member about the steering axis (Lf), the front wheels are displaced relatively to one another vertically in opposite directions with respect to the vehicle body frame and the front wheels are steered.
