    摘要: A pneumatic tire includes a pair of bead cores; a pair of bead fillers that are connected to the pair of bead cores; a carcass ply that is suspended between the pair of bead cores; a side wall rubber that is arranged on a tire-outer-surface-side of the carcass ply and constitutes a tire outer surface; a chafer layer that is turned from a tire-inner-surface-side to the tire-outer-surface-side around the bead cores and the bead fillers and rolled up on an outer surface of the carcass ply; and a pair of support rubbers that are located between the side wall rubber and the carcass ply and arranged so as to hold a rolled-up end of the chafer layer from both sides in a tire width direction. A modulus values of the pair of support rubbers are higher than a modulus value of the side wall rubber.

    摘要: In a tire 2, chafers 8 each extend from a position axially outward of a corresponding one of beads 10 to a position radially inward of the corresponding one of the beads 10. Sidewalls 6 extend to positions between the beads 10 and the chafers 8, respectively. The chafers 8 extend to positions outward of ends 38 of turned-up portions 44 of a carcass ply 40 in the radial direction. When a side surface 50 represents a portion, of an outer surface of each chafer 8, which contacts with a flange of a rim, an outline of the side surface 50 has an arc C that extends from a heel of the bead 10 portion and projects inward.

When a position on an outer surface of the tire 2 at which position a height from a BBL is 14 mm is defined as a first point P1 and a position on the outer surface of the tire 2 at which position a height from the BBL is 20 mm is defined as a second point P2, the reinforcing portion 48 overlaps the first point P1 and the second point P2 in a radial direction. A loss tangent of the reinforcing portion 48 is equal to a loss tangent of the main body 46 or less than the loss tangent. A hardness of the reinforcing portion 48 is equal to a hardness of the main body 46 or greater than the hardness.

A line L4 passes through point C and point B. The thickness Ts is greater than or equal to 10 mm, and not greater than 17 mm. The turned-up portion 46 extends through a region surrounded by an axially outer surface of main portion 44, and lines L2-L4.
