    Abstract: The tire includes a summit surrounded by side portions terminating in beads provided to cooperate with a mounting rim. A carcass reinforcement is surmounted by a summit reinforcement composed of reinforcing plies. When the tire is mounted onto its standard mounting rim and inflated with its nominal pressure, each side portion has an upper side point, a bottom side point, an intermediate side point, an upper side portion, and a bottom side portion. A weight of the bottom side portion on one side portion is at least 15% lighter than a weight of the bottom side portion on another side portion.

    Abstract: With a pneumatic tire not mounted on a rim, in a meridian cross-section a first line is parallel with an innermost bottom side of a bead core in a radial direction and passes through an outermost projection of the bead core in a lateral direction, a second line is orthogonal with the first line at the outermost projection, a third line is orthogonal with the first line and passes through an intersection of a rim cushion rubber, a distance between the second and third lines is 2.0 to 4.0 mm, a shortest distance between an innermost projection of the bead core in the lateral direction and a cord of a carcass layer is 0.6 to 1.4 mm, and a shortest distance between an innermost end of the bottom side of the bead core in the lateral direction and the cord of the carcass layer is 1.2 to 2.2 mm.

    Abstract: A bicycle tubeless tire includes a tread and two sidewalls are formed on two sides of the tread. Each sidewall has a lip formed on the distal edge thereof. An installation unit is integrally formed with each lip. Each lip includes an inside, an underside and an outside. The underside and the outside of each lip are engaged with an engaging portion at the inner bottom of the rim when the tire is installed to the rim. The lips do not shift by the engaging portions of the rim. Each of the underside and the outside is a flat side such that the contact area between the lips and the rim is increased to have better air-tight features. The outer face of each lip is a flat face to be installed to the rim without flanges. The deformation of the sidewalls of the tire, and the wind resistance are reduced.
