    Abstract: This run flat tire includes a carcass toroidally extending between two bead portions and side reinforcing rubber, having a crescent cross-sectional shape in the tire width direction, on the tire width direction inside of the carcass. The relational expressions 0.09≦TWH/TW≦0.19, D/SH≦0.05, and 0.89≦TW/SW≦0.94 are satisfied, where, in a reference state such that the run flat tire is mounted on an applicable rim and inflated to a prescribed internal pressure with no load, TW (mm) represents the half width in the tire width direction between the tread edges, TWH (mm) represents the radial drop height of the tread edge, SW (mm) represents half of the tire maximum width, SH (mm) represents the tire cross-sectional height, and D (mm) represents the drop height of the tire at a position 0.6SW (mm) outward, in the tire width direction, from the tire equatorial plane.

    Abstract: A pneumatic tire for agricultural equipment or forestry equipment includes a circumferential tread, a pair of sidewalls, and a pair of bead portions. A steel reinforced radial carcass ply extends circumferentially about the tire. The carcass ply includes an axially inner portion and axially outer turn-up portions. First and second steel reinforced belts are disposed between the carcass ply and the circumferential tread. Axial ends of the belts are separated by belt wedges. The tire includes a pair of sidewall inserts. Each sidewall insert extends continuously from an upper end extending between the first belt and the carcass ply, through a sidewall region of the tire, to a lower end extending between the inner portion of the carcass ply and one of the turn-up portions of the carcass ply. A tie gum layer binds an inner liner to the carcass ply.

    Abstract: It is an object to provide a tire having both a ride comfort and a handling stability on a high level.There is provided a reinforcing layer (20) which is positioned on an inner peripheral side of a carcass (10) at an inside of a sidewall (6). The carcass (10) has a radial structure. A bead (8) includes a core (26) and an apex (28) extended outward in a radial direction from the core (26). A ratio (Sa/Sc) of a sectional area (Sa) of the apex (28) to a sectional area (Sc) of the core (26) is equal to or higher than 0.5 and is equal to or lower than 1.5. A hardness of the reinforcing layer (20) is equal to or higher than 85 and is equal to or lower than 95. A thickness of the reinforcing layer (20) is equal to or greater than 1 mm and is equal to or smaller than 4 mm. A ratio (H1/Ht) of a height (H1) of the reinforcing layer (20) to a height (Ht) of a tire (2) is equal to or higher than 0.5 and is equal to or lower than 0.8. It is preferable that the thickness of the reinforcing layer (20) of the tire (2) should be equal to or greater than 2 mm. It is preferable that a distance in the radial direction from an end on an inside in the radial direction of the reinforcing layer (20) to a bead toe tip should be equal to or greater than 10 mm.
