    Abstract: A tire is provided with a tire frame member that is made from resin and has a pair of bead portions, a pair of side portions that extend from the bead portions towards an outer side in a tire radial direction, and a crown portion that connects an outer side end in the tire radial direction of one side portion to an outer side end in the tire radial direction of another side portion, and with a crossing belt layer that is provided with plural reinforcing cords that are arranged in rows which are inclined relative to a tire rotation axis of the tire frame member and are coated with a resin material. The crossing belt layer is disposed either directly or via a resin layer on an outer side surface in the tire radial direction of the crown portion.

    Abstract: A ballistic resilient run-flat tire device, kit and method for manufacturing the same are presented for providing a vehicle a capability of traveling for at least 30 miles at 30 miles per hour, after the device has been compromised as of result of exposure due to ballistic ordinance rifle shots such as 7.62×39 mm and 7.62×54R or air loss from road hazard punctures. The device includes a tire carcass and a polyurethane inner coating inside the tire carcass that defines an inflatable hollow chamber within the ballistic resilient run-flat tire. The tire carcass has an annular tread, sidewalls, and beads. The polyurethane inner coating inside the tire carcass defining a hollow chamber provides additional protection along the sidewalls and tread of the tire carcass. The kit includes the un-interconnected elements of the device. The method includes the steps of curing, discharging, filling, injecting, introducing, mounting, obtaining, and preparing.

    Abstract: An object is to both provide a tire that is formed from a resin material, and in particular a thermoplastic material, and to also suppresses incorporation of air, raising durability. A tire 10 includes: a ring shaped tire case 23 formed from a resin material; a reinforcement cord 26 having a higher rigidity that that of the resin material, wound in a spiral shape on the outer peripheral section of the tire case 23 and having at least a portion of the reinforcement cord 26 embedded in and making close contact with the outer peripheral section of the tire case 23 when viewed in a cross-section along the axial direction of the tire case 23; and a tread 30 provided on the radial direction outside of a reinforcement cord layer 28 formed by the reinforcement cord 26. Accordingly air can be suppressed from being incorporated and durability can be raised.
