摘要: The invention relates to a process for the layered construction of a shaped body by means of a 3D inkjet printing process with a piezo printhead (2) with several nozzles (6), to each of which a piezo element (8) is allocated which can act on the associated nozzle, in order to discharge ink from it. The piezo printhead (2) is moved, controlled by a control unit, over a construction area, the piezo elements are actuated individually for the locally selective application of filled ink, in order to apply a layer with a contour predetermined by the control unit. The applied layer is allowed to cure and the desired shaped body is constructed by successive application of layers, each with a predetermined contour. According to the invention, the control unit is set up to move the piezo printhead out of the construction area after a predetermined number of printed layers and/or if the control unit records a reduced discharge of ink in a nozzle (6) of the piezo printhead (2), then subject the nozzle or nozzles with reduced discharge or all the nozzles of the piezo printhead to a nozzle cleaning by stimulating the piezo element or elements (8) of the nozzles to be cleaned with a frequency of at least 20 kHz to generate ultrasound waves, in order to comminute and release any deposits in the nozzle.

摘要: A droplet ejecting head is formed with at least one nozzle and is configured to eject a liquid droplet through the at least one nozzle in a nozzle axis direction. A carriage supports the droplet ejecting head. A guide member extends in a predetermined direction and is configured to guide the carriage so that the carriage is movable in the predetermined direction. A moving section moves the carriage along the guide member. The droplet ejecting head is configured to eject a liquid droplet through the at least one nozzle onto an ejection object while the moving section moves the carriage. A vibration generating section vibrates the droplet ejecting head in such a manner that vibration of liquid held in the at least one nozzle includes a component in the nozzle axis direction.

摘要: A system including a control module and a vibration generator. The control module is configured to communicate with a printhead having a plurality of nozzles to eject ink onto a print medium to create an image on the print medium. The control module is configured to detect a malfunction of a first nozzle of the plurality of nozzles. The malfunction of the first nozzle causes ink not be ejected onto a first portion of the print medium. The vibration generator, in response to the malfunction of the first nozzle, is configured to vibrate the printhead synchronously with at least one of (i) a timing of firing of the plurality of nozzles and (ii) a speed of the print medium. Ink is at least partially ejected by a second nozzle of the plurality of nozzles, which is adjacent to the first nozzle, onto the first portion of the print medium.

摘要: An inkjet image forming apparatus including an exposure time of ink attached to nozzles is determined considering various factors including a capping/uncapping time of a print head, a time interval of a powering operation, and a time interval of a printing operation, and then a washing mode to be performed is selected out of a plurality of washing modes with different washing methods in accordance with the exposure time of the ink. Therefore, washing of a print head can be performed more efficiently depending on a condition of ink attached to the nozzles. In addition, a viscosity of the attached ink can be weakened by heating the print head while performing the washing mode. Especially, when washing the print head by an ultrasonic washing mode, a washing energy can be concentrated on a removal of the ink, thereby improving washing efficiency.
