The composite layer is located between the first silica xerogel layer and the second silica xerogel layer, and includes at least one type of unwoven fabric fibers, and a third silica xerogel. The third silica xerogel is located in a spatial volume of the unwoven fabric fibers.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a composite element comprising a single- or multi-part core and an envelope which are in a force fit combination with each other, at least comprising providing a single- or multi-part core of an evacuable organic material; at least partly enveloping the core with an envelope to obtain a composite element precursor; and treating the composite element precursor for a period leading to an at least partial softening of the evacuable organic material and of the envelope surface apposing the core. The present invention further relates to composite elements obtained or obtainable by a method of the present invention and also to the method of using a composite element of the present invention as a vacuum insulation panel or as a thermal insulation material.

摘要: A composite non-vision insulation panel unit comprising an exterior sheet and an interior sheet which define a cavity there between, said cavity housing one or more insulation panels. The insulation panel(s) is/are spaced apart from said interior and exterior sheets respectively by means of a damping material having a shore A hardness value in the range of from 0 to 60 according to ASTM D 2240-05(2010), and the composite non-vision insulation panel unit is sealed with a sealant which maintains the cavity width between said interior and exterior sheet and encloses the cavity of the composite non-vision insulation panel units.

摘要: An architectural membrane structure preferably includes an aerogel material disposed, for example, between two outer layers. The aerogel can be in monolithic or granular form or can be present in an aerogel composite. A method for manufacturing an architectural membrane structure includes securing an insert, e.g., an aerogel blanket, composite or granular aerogel, between a first and second layer. The architectural membrane structure can be used as a tensioned panel in envelopes such as roofing, overhangs, canopies or in other architectural or structural fabric applications.
