    Abstract: A method for manufacturing a sheet material container where the sheet material container includes one or a plurality of sheet members including a main-body forming sheet member that has an outer film layer and an inner film layer which are mutually stacked, a containing region that accommodates contents, and a container body that is configured from the main-body forming sheet member and that surrounds the containing region, and the main-body forming sheet member having a main-body sealing portion, which is an attached region between the outer film layer and the inner film layer, and a non-attached region where the outer film layer and the inner film layer are partially not attached, and further having a filling portion where a filler is enclosed between the layers of the outer film layer and the inner film layer in the non-attached region.

    Abstract: The invention is a hybrid inserter/wrapper system comprising a hybrid inserter/wrapper system comprising a modular document inserter system and a unique wrapper-like envelope creation module operably connected thereto. The wrapper-like envelope creation module is configured to operate in a first mode and a second mode. In the first mode, the wrapper-like envelope creation module is configured to fabricate wrapper-like outer envelopes and feed such outer envelopes to the inserter system. In the second mode, the wrapper-like envelope creation module is configured to allow the inserter to be loaded with premade envelopes and feed such envelopes to the inserter system. In either mode, the document inserter system further carries out downstream operations to thereby produce a finished mailpiece.

    Abstract: A trifold side seamed plastic produce bag includes a front wall and a taller back wall, first and second side edges sealed together and a seamless bag bottom. The taller back wall provides means for finding the bag opening. The bag is joined at the side edges to additional bags by a perforation. The bag is corona treated on at least one wall and promotional material is printed on the treated surface. The bags are folded to one third of their height to fit compact bag roll dispensers. The bags are folded in a Z-fold or C-fold configuration. The method and apparatus for producing the bags includes a slitter that removes a strip of plastic from only the top layer of the bag stream to form an extended flap on each bag. The method includes manufacturing the bags and winding them onto cores or forming the bags into coreless rolls.
