    摘要: A bag making apparatus includes an intermittent feed device for feeding sheet panels, an adjustment device for detecting upper and lower thresholds for a length of the sheet panels included in a section from a first drive roller pair to a second drive roller pair, a movement device for moving a processing device and a sensor together as a movable group in the longitudinal direction of the sheet panels. The movement device moves the movable group upstream in response to the adjustment device detecting the upper threshold and moves the movable group downstream in response to the adjustment device detecting the lower threshold. If the movable group is moved, the intermittent feed device determines an intermittent feed distance based on a moving distance of the movable group in addition to output from the sensor and feeds the sheet panels by the determined distance using the first drive roller pair.

    摘要: An apparatus and method for producing microperforated patches for MAP includes drilling or punching microperforations through continuously advancing label stock. Holes can be drilled by at least one microperforating laser traversed across the label stock as it advances, a laser beam deflected or split using a servo-driven galvanometer, beam splitters, or a plurality of mirrors, or by drills mounted into a rotating die cylinder across which the stock passes as it is advanced. Numbers and sizes of microperforations can be adjusted by manipulation of laser control parameters, or by exchange of die cylinders. The laser can be a CO2 laser with between 10 W and 100 W output. The drills can be carbide drills. The label stock is typically 6-18 inches wide, and can include an adhesive covered by a release sheet. The stock to be microperforated can include separate rows of labels or can be suitable for die-cutting after microperforation.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for making bags or pouches is disclosed. It includes a track, at least two sleds that move on the track, and operating stations mounted on the sleds. The film moves along the track, and the sleds move with the film while performing operations on the film. The system can have the sleds stationary while operating for an intermittent machine, and move to reconfigure when the film is moving. The operating stations include one or more of a sealer, a heater, a cooler, an inserter, a knife, a punch, a perforator, a static charger, and a printer. The track forms a continuous path or is linear. A controller controls the sleds and operating stations. The controller includes an operating time and/or a reconfiguration module. The operating time module is responsive to a user set material thickness or a sensed material thickness.

    摘要: An apparatus successively makes plastic bags each of which includes an end surface provided with a protrusion, without specially supplying a web of bottom gusset material. A first web of panel material is folded along a first folded line at a position adjacent to a side edge of the first web, while a second web of panel material is folded along a second folded line at a position adjacent to a corresponding side edge of the second web. A first folded portion is formed in the first web. There exists a distance between the side edge and the first folded line, which is larger than twice a distance between the corresponding side edge and the second folded line by a predetermined distance, after being folded. The end surface is formed by the first folded portion, the protrusion being formed by the predetermined distance.
